Was Rousseau part of Dharma?  It was 16 years ago that she and a science team arrived by accident to the island.  she doesn't say what the purpose of her science team was.  she only states that they were three days out of tajiti when their instruments went haywire (good clue to the location of the island).

Is the sickness that Rousseau that of a slowly changing personality....such as we have seen in Locke.

Rousseau's team was on the island for 2 months before she began shooting.  She describes them as sick but does not mention physical illness.  She further states that she couldn't allow them off the island....she feels that she has protected the world.

Why was Rousseau so interested in Nadia?  She's interrogating sajid by asking him questions about her....instead of about the other's or why he is there.

What was written on Nadia's file in iraqi prison?

When sajid first sees rousseau....he states, "You."  Does he know her?

When rousseau speaks about the transmission, she says that they control it now.  Why do the other's allow the continued transmission of the message?

Did anybody catch the sounds of the monsta mixed in with the music while sajid is caught in rousseau's trap and praying?

Somebody should have shot michael the first episode.  This is painful to watch.  Michael is a lousy dad, period.  He wants a son but has gotten used to not being a father.  He repeatedly forgets, abandons, ignores, and disappoints Walt.

Walt continues to be drawn to Locke.  Why?

Locke goes hunting with Ethan at night.  That's the best time to hunt.  Locke states that Ethan has some military background or experience with hunting (can't remember original post).  Is the best time to hunt boar at night....hell no.  What was he doing with Ethan?  Has he been "infected" and beginning to show the changes that led Rousseau to shoot her companions and robert?

What was all in the bag that ethan handed hurley?

Was Rousseau part of Dharma? i don't think so.  if she was she would live in a hatch.
Spoiler
TPTB have said where rousseau lives is NOT a hatch
It was 16 years ago that she and a science team arrived by accident to the island.  she doesn't say what the purpose of her science team was.  she only states that they were three days out of tajiti when their instruments went haywire (good clue to the location of the island).
Is the sickness that Rousseau that of a slowly changing personality....such as we have seen in Locke. no.  maybe a mental sickness, but not one that causes a personality change.  locke's personality change is because of the events in his life and those on the island and how those memories and events affect him emotionally.  (that and the fact that he is no longer paralized and can do something with all his anger.)

Rousseau's team was on the island for 2 months before she began shooting.  She describes them as sick but does not mention physical illness.  She further states that she couldn't allow them off the island....she feels that she has protected the world.
Why was Rousseau so interested in Nadia?  she had the hots for sayid, and sayid was still carrying a torch for nadia.  lol.  i don't know.  maybe because she was lonely and wanted to know about sayid.  she hadn't been around anyone in 16 years! She's interrogating sajid by asking him questions about her....instead of about the other's or why he is there.

What was written on Nadia's file in iraqi prison?what does this have to do with anything?

When sajid first sees rousseau....he states, "You."  Does he know her?no, but at this point he knows "of" her because of what has already happened on the island

When rousseau speaks about the transmission, she says that they control it now.  Why do the other's allow the continued transmission of the message?because as long as they allow a transmission that makes no sense nothing else can be transmitted on that frequency.

Did anybody catch the sounds of the monsta mixed in with the music while sajid is caught in rousseau's trap and praying?nope.  sorry.

Somebody should have shot michael the first episode.  This is painful to watch.  Michael is a lousy dad, period.  He wants a son but has gotten used to not being a father.  He repeatedly forgets, abandons, ignores, and disappoints Walt.why is it painful?  michael is gone.

Walt continues to be drawn to Locke.  Why?see you're own comments regarding michael as a father above.  "...used to NOT being a father,"  "...He repeatedly forgets, abandons, ignores, and disappoints Walt," "...Michael is a lousy dad, period."  Locke is interested in walt, so walt likes locke.

Locke goes hunting with Ethan at night.  That's the best time to hunt.  Locke states that Ethan has some military background or experience with hunting (can't remember original post).  Is the best time to hunt boar at night....hell noactually the middle of the night is a GREAT time to boar hunt.  The second best times would be dusk and dawn.  There is quite a bit of boar hunting where I live.  Motion cameras will show the most activity around 2-3 am.  then dusk and dawn.  What was he doing with Ethan?hunting boar?  Has he been "infected" and beginning to show the changes that led Rousseau to shoot her companions and robert?no, see post above

What was all in the bag that ethan handed hurley?what are you talking about?  what episode, what bag?

Everyone seems to get a kick out of the eggs dropped into the story.  The file handed to Sajid includes the picture of Nadia and a visible page of arabic writing....similar to Mikails writings.  Just wanted to know what was one it.

I do think that the "sickness" that effected rousseau's companions was mental and was due to changes brought on by the island.  Her companions may have not wanted to leave.

I believe that the reason that the transmission is allowed to continue is that it is a counting sequence....a timer....transmitting from somewhere or somewhen on the island.  It may not be approachable at all because it transmits outside of the reality of the island.  Thus, Rousseau was....at the right time....able to insert her distress call, but now the thing cannot be changed by the others or Rousseau.

Importantly, Rousseau said early that the transmissions come from near the Black Rock (obvious reference to Islam).  Later the group hikes to find the Black Rock but I don't remember any transmission tower.

The Black Stone in Islam has various theories as to it's meaning.  Many Muslims pay their respects to the Black Stone in a spirit of trust in Muhammad, not with any belief in the Black Stone itself. This, however does not indicate their disrespect to the stone, but their belief that harm and benefit are in the hands of God, and nothing else.  Muslims face towards the stones in their daily prayers.  Some say that the Stone is best considered as a marker, useful in keeping count of the ritual circumambulations (tawaf) one has performed during their pilgrimage to Mecca.  Some also believe that the Stone fell from Heaven during the time of Adam and Eve, and that it was once a pure and dazzling white, but has turned black because of the sins it has absorbed over the years.  Other Muslims also accept this hadith, from Tirmidhi, which asserts that at the Last Judgement (Qiyamah), the Black Stone will speak for those who kissed it.

The Black Stone is therefore a nexus, a measurer of time, a marker of the evils of the world, and possibly an advocate at the time of Judgement.  On the Island, the Black Rock is likely the nexus and, as demonstrated, is transmitting a counting sequence.  Is it a nexus of good or of evil?

Hunting hogs at night.  Easier with a baited sight and easier with a spotlight.  To hunt with a knife an animal that (unlike deer) will flee an attacker and just keep running means that you'd better get them the first time.  Feril hogs are not territorial and are very sensitive to hunting pressure.  The main that I see as inconsistent in Locke and Ethan hunting at night is that they are not using a gun.  Given, they may be baiting and they may have a light, but if you attack a piglet (within the circle of your spotlight) and mamma's nearby.....that wouldn't be pretty.

There was a bag that Ethan found....it is something in the bag that gives hurley the idea of making an island golf course.

but they may be using traps, much like russou used to catch ben.  this with the use of bait, would work best at night.

Good thoughts, Puff.

The transmission is coming from the antenna and is an actual physical thing that is tangible.

I don't believe there is any time travel or alternate realities going on.  I think that is a way for us to explain away the things we don't understand.  Everything going on happened for real in one reality.
