Star Wars: Episode VII / Re: My Episode VII (spoiler?) Poster!

Yeah, me too. Unless the new series is going to be bad anyway - then I say "go for it" and just make them terribad. Astro had a great idea that maybe the hand falls through the atmosphere, hits Jar Jar on the head, bounces off, the saber switch is activated turning it on, slicing off his head.

Jar Jar: "Ohsa nooos! Meesa head has a beena choppined off! Meesa gonna diiiiiiiee!"

Han: "I've got a good feeling about this!"

Anakin Ghost: "Wizard!"

Yeah, I said before, this is the worst show I watch regularly. Tonight's season premiere is really proving it!

Just use spoiler tags if it's not something already aired.

Game of Thrones / Season 4 finale

What did you guys think?

To me, the pacing seemed off. Like they just had to go around and kill off a few people and it felt like the show was just trying to get through it all without really making anything stand out or seem that important of have that much weight. I didn't think it was a great finale, but I still love the show.

This is high on my list of shows series to continue watching. I started binging the first season like a year or two ago and it got away from me. Or I got away from it. Whatever.

Game of Thrones / Re: They might be giants!

Pretty sure in the book there is one dude left at the end who disembowels himself after setting the book itself on fire.

What did you all think of this episode? Very Lord of the Ringsy, no? A different kind of episode for GoT - very epic, actiony and gargantuan, but I thought done really well. Still, The Wall story is my least favorite storyline in the show. Back to Kings Landing please!

what i like about it is just that, no gratuitous gruesome pics. yeah, its strong, i wouldnt let children watch it, but i think it's view-able without getting grossed out and sick. for example, i gave up Spartacus because of the exaggerated gratuitous torture and blood and all that and more together. made me sick to see it.

I do get pretty grossed out but I am getting tougher...  :P
One person I can't stand (this will probably piss people off) is Rick.  I hate the way he talks!  I know he is a Britt trying to do an American southern accent but his speach really really annoys me.  It's like he lowers his voice about 10 octaves or something.  Idk..I am just not a Rick fan.  Anyway...I guess I needed to share that.
Do you all watch the talking dead after the show?

I watch The Talking Dead about half the time. Maybe we could start a show that dicusses what happened on The Talking Dead? And, the unique thing about our show is we could be walking as we talked. So, we'd call it The Talking Walking Talking Dead.

Star Wars: Episode VII / Re: Bringing back the original cast..
« on: June 05, 2014, 03:24:58 PM »
I am almost always of the opinion that it is better to bring back old cast members to reprise roles than to attempt to bring in new faces. The character will be portrayed differently if someone else is the actor. That's what acting typically is. The question then remains: do we want to see a Star Wars with a bunch of 60-year-old actors? Or do we want a completely new story altogether?

I kind of wish they would do new movies set in The Old Republic storyline from the games.

Star Wars: Episode VII / Re: Episode VII expectations
« on: June 05, 2014, 03:23:52 PM »
After seeing that they are creating a full Millennium Falcon and not using FX, my expectations are pretty high.  I spoiler tagged it just in case.

I like how you put the picture in spoiler tags but not the description of what the picture is. LOL. For people who don't mind knowing that's in the film, but don't remember what it looks like?
