Episode 6x16 / Target Ads
« on: May 23, 2010, 10:46:40 PM »
I love the Target ads.
I love the keyboard ad and the smoke alarm ad the most.

I've decided the episodes rate a 10 based on the ads alone, the rest is insanely awesome.

Theories & Speculation / David is really MiB
« on: May 23, 2010, 10:21:43 AM »
I keep wondering why everyone in the Alt is the same except for David (ok Nadia's children).
I think he is out of place and is really the MiB reincarnated in the Alt.
Crazy? Yes. I guess I shouldn't think about Lost all the time.

Don't get me wrong, I think Evi is beautiful. She is very hot in those hair commercials, but I've never really thought that Kate was that sexy.
I had to sneak watching the scene with Jack stitching her up, and her saying they had to kill Locke, a dozen times when my wife was busy.

Episode 6x15 / Richard Lives!
« on: May 19, 2010, 12:59:28 AM »
I just had to do it.
He's not dead. A little Smokie toss, can't take him out.

Episode 6x15 / Ben and Danielle
« on: May 19, 2010, 12:57:39 AM »
It looks like Ben finally has good luck with a woman.
I think it was a nice touch bringing Mira back to have a family dinner with Ben.

Episode 6x10 / Penny running the stadium steps?
« on: April 09, 2010, 02:45:13 PM »
I watched H.E.A. for the fourth time today and when I saw Penny running the stadium steps, it hit me that she might be training for Widmore's Sailboat race.
Maybe she is trying to earn her father's respect like Des did?

Or am I just suffering the effects of watching too much Lost?

Episode 6x09 / Jack's touch
« on: March 30, 2010, 11:23:09 PM »
I had a feeling when Jack reached out for Sun's hand, that it wouldn't end well for her.
I like Jack, but I just can't believe his touch will be for the best of anyone.

Episode 6x06 / Man of Faith
« on: March 09, 2010, 11:13:19 PM »
Jack is now fully embracing his destiny and is now a man of faith in Jacob.
I still like how it's shaping up to be Jacks vs (f)Locke.
I'm glad the broken Jack is gone and action Jack is back.

Although Rebel has a thread similar to this, I'm only talking about those that lived up to the island moving.
I feel that the alt reality is better. Whether this is the results of them being redeemed, a reward, etc. I don't know.

Better off in the alt

Hugo- His fate is much improved in the alt timeline. He felt cursed and unlucky. In the alt, he is the luckiest man alive (according to himself). He is still nice and seems very happy.

Locke - While he is still in a wheelchair, he has Helen. They are going to get married and he doesn't seem to have the anger problems that plagued him before.
Based on the picture on his desk, he has a relationship with his father.

Jack - While he is still divorced, he has a son and he has now connected with him. He doesn't seem full or rage. He doesn't seem to be doomed to repeat how his father treated him, and he's staying away from the booze. He isn't broken.

Claire - It appears she has connected with Aaron and will keep him, thanks to Kate. I assume she'll learn that she has a brother and her and Jack can bond. Can they end up a happy Shepard family?

Sayid - Nadia is alive and has two children. Although she is married to Sayid's brother, his desire was for her to be alive and happy. He feels he does not deserve her.

Sawyer is a cop with Miles in a cheap cop buddy show.  :P He isn't a con man and seems to have a great job where he can sleep with the women and then arrest them.  ::)

Might be better- we don't know yet.

Sayid - It appears he is going to try to find Nadia. I will assume that she will accept him and they'll get together. It might be a stretch with what little we've seen so far.

Kate - Still a fugitive. She says she is innocent. She might be. Maybe her mother is guilty and will confess. She did help Claire connect with Aaron. She can't be all bad.  ;)

Sawyer - He did offer Hugo some advice and didn't appear to try to con him out of any money. We have to wait and see.

Sun and Jin - The jury is still out on them too. They don't appear to be any better or worse off than before 815 crashed. We'll have to see more.

Episode 3x14 / Watching it again now, Expose wasn't so bad
« on: June 05, 2009, 11:12:52 AM »
To my surprise I saw that my DVR had recorded Expose last night.
So I went and watched the whole episode again. Sure, I took my forum name from Nikki's catch phrase, but I never really liked the episode.

Looking back at this episode, I think it was pretty good.
Niki in a bikini dancing on a stripper pole.
Boone and Shannon had a decent amount of screen time.
Dr. Arzt had a few scenes, but he still wasn't developed. We never needed to learn more about him, so no real wasted time.
Hurley and Sawyer were great together trying to solve the mystery.
Sawyer kept making comments about who where Nikki and Paulo.
Locke not realizing their was a bathroom in the Pearl
A great catch phrase - Razzle Dazzle!

Sure the whole experiment of adding characters retroactively wasn't popular, but I think this episode was one of the better episodes of Season 3.

I'm beginning to think we might have another episode where we revisit key moments in Lost's past. Similar to the scenes with Jacob in the finale. Maybe Jacob watching the plane crash, watching Desmond crash, etc.

Theories & Speculation / My season 6 opening scene theory
« on: May 19, 2009, 10:05:46 PM »
I think the opening scene of Season 6 will make us think that Daniel’s Plan worked and things have changed.
Let’s recap, and please tell me where I've made mistakes.  ;)

Season 1 started with Jack’s eye.
Season 1 ended with Locke blowing up the hatch.
Season 2 started with Desmond in the hatch right before and after they blew up the hatch.
Season 2 ended with Jack, Sawyer, Kate, and Hurley being captured by the Others and Desmond blowing up the Swan by turning the failsafe.
Season 3 started with Juliet watching 815 crash.
Season 3 ended with bushy beard Jack and “We have to go baaack!”
Season 4 started with Hurley having a car chase, while Jack watched it on the news.
Season 4 ended with Jack and Ben looking at Locke’s body in the coffin.
Season 5 started with Dr. Chang waking up.
Season 5 ended with Juliet supposedly blowing up the Swan site.

Each season ending is following by a loosely match start of the next season. We always have a twist in the opening scene.

So, I bet we are lead to believe things changed.
I see either the opening scene to be Bernard freaking out and telling Rose he has to go to the bathroom, Jack drinking a cocktail, etc. Then we see Jack’s eye opening up, and as it the camera slowly zooms out, we see Jack isn’t wearing a suit, but the Dharma jumpsuit. They just flashed to 2007, Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Jin, Hurley, Sayid and Miles are at the crater of the Swan which Desmond blew up. They go to the beach, see people paddling out, and James tries to stop them, so Juliet won’t die.

We see Desmond in the Hatch, listening to music, riding the bike, taking a shower, etc. The twist is that he was dreaming about the Swan wakes up and tells Penny they ALL have to go back to the Island. I really feel Desmond has to return to the Island and he won’t unless Penny and Charlie are in danger.

Episode 5x15 / Role reversal Jack and Sawyer
« on: May 07, 2009, 06:35:22 AM »
The role of Locke will now be played by Jack in 1977.
I like how Kate called jack out. He is now acting like Locke. He is a man of Faith now and believes in destiny.

The role of Jack will now be played by Sawyer in 1977.
Sawyer thinks whatever happened, happened.

The role of Jack will be played by Locke in 2007.
Locke is leading a group of people through the jungle to save the day. To shed light on a myth. He seems ready to throw everyone under the bus for his purpose, because it's in the greater good.I am not saying Locke is a man of Science, just very Jack like.

Theories & Speculation / Jacob is dead like Christian and Locke
« on: April 16, 2009, 06:58:43 PM »
I was thinking about Miles being able to talk to dead people and I wondered why only certain people can see Jacob.
Ben was shocked when Locke heard Jacob. Ben is special due to whatever Richard did to him.
Christian is dead and can appear to people. Locke was dead, and based on the way he was sneaking around, he doesn't seem mostly alive.  ;) (Shout out to Princess Bride's mostly dead).

I was thinking that Jacob died a long time ago, but he was brought back in a state less stable than Christian.
I see Jacob being the least "alive", Christian being the next state, and Locke being the most alive.

Just a crazy theory, tear it apart.

Spoiler Theories and Speculation / Rousseau's Team
« on: February 10, 2009, 08:22:54 PM »
For a science team they sure are armed pretty well based on the sneak peak for Wednesday's night episode.

Of course, nothing on Lost is as it seems. I don't think they are really a science team. Look at them. They are all young and attractive, especially Nadine.
They have to be a team put together by someone wanting to find the island.

Not much of a theory, but an observation.
