Episode 6x11 / Everybody Loves Hugo or General Episode Hash -
« on: April 11, 2010, 09:21:24 AM »
CC made a great point of the folks on here discussing issues/revelations/possibilities.
I thought maybe it would be fun to just have a general episode hash specific to the episode.  I guess the only rule here would be keep it respectful and as close to the episode as possible.

I am looking forward to Hugo having an episode and hope that the Libby issue gets cleared up in here.

Okay  ---------------------
This thread is for two folks who make us chuckle and laugh!

Let's help them have fun and huggle them both a lot!

BBC has a new series they keep on saying move over Twilight in the commercials.

Simply it is a story about three flatmates, a ghost, vampire and werewolf.

If you get BBC America it is on Saturday nights and worth the watch, it is not bad and they have their own challenges to face.  I have been catching the repeats.

LOST Talk / What is your LOST night routine?
« on: April 18, 2009, 09:47:45 AM »
What ever night LOST is on, do you have a routine that you do to get ready to watch the show?  I was talking about this to an off forum person and we realized that each season we had done something that would get us ready to watch the show. Do you have a special pair of jeans you wear, a LOST Shirt?  Eat Apollo bars, hot pockets, get the LOST figures out on the mantle?  Do you record and watch later with your significant other?  I don't know but no matter share your routine!

This season I have found myself putting on fresh bed linens.  Like to do laundry on Thursdays so the weekend is chore free.

Popping a single serve bag of popcorn, getting a pot of mint tea or some kind of beverage ready and sitting in my antique wicker chair, feet propped on bed, lights off, candles light, TV on and hearing Previously on LOST!  Or sometimes forgoing the popcorn and snuggling under the covers!

Sometimes I will log on here but of late I like my afk routine.  The next thing I know the hour is gone, my heart is racing, the brain cells processing and I end up dreaming about the episode!

Well, have fun sharing your routine!

LOST Talk / Mrs. Hume's Tea Party - A place to meet and share thoughts
« on: February 16, 2009, 10:22:40 AM »
Well, Mrs. H and friends here you can pop in here and discuss how much you like LOST in general. I did look to see if there was another topic like this but wasn't able to find.  But I think LOST Talk in General discussion makes.

If there is then we can merge into another ...have fun Ladies

Oh man, you should have been Mrs Alpert, that would have been so cool! We could gather all the Mrs and have a tea party. You know us women would figure out how to fix this Island problem. We'll invite Mrs Jacob.  ;)
geniuses ey? lol  Ok that's cooooool, I like that!

Theories & Speculation / LiL's Theory on Religious Undertones to Aaron??
« on: February 09, 2009, 08:11:23 PM »
I have always said the Island is duplicitous, for all the healing, natural resources, beauty, promise and so on it does have a dark side.  The inability to continue with pregnancies, the island killing off people when it is done with them, Smokey (good and bad) well, you get the point.

The common thread is good vs. evil isn't that the core/basis of most religious belief?  I do not profess to be a theologian nor do I know the bible chapter and verse, but I have faith.  And all I have read in my life has been the good vs. the bad.

Okay where am I going with this, yes, the writers have been good with the biblical names and creating that common thread to lead us to a conclusion.  But, I am beginning to wonder about Aaron and could end up being a sacrifice for the island?

So bear with me on this train of thought.  Thomas, the father of Aaron was a painter.  Who's art ended up in Charles Widmore's office (I believe you can still find these under the home page or investigations).  He breaks off with Claire who is pregnant.  But she is convinced by a psychic that she needs to raise her own child and conveniently sends her on flight 815, of which her brother is on and her dead father.

Okay now on the island her dead father is not in the coffin, hmm how interesting.  Did Christian Sheppard have a "death" like Locke in order to bring all of these people to the island?  Did Christian Sheppard have influence on Claire's meeting with Aaron's father and over the psychic?  We know he or any of the off island others could have known Claire was having a boy.  Oh yes and the reason Thomas was with her was to have a child off the island, with hopes that it was going to be a boy?

If Christian was or is of Jacob level or representing him, he may have had to find a sacrifice for the island.  His son Jack was of no use to him, but his daughter could have been.

Christian tells Claire something that allows her to leave her child there.  But as time progresses, perhaps the island moving or Claire finding out more about what the island truly is or what the others are required to do for the island.  (This is slightly reminiscent of a book called burnt offerings, which I believe I have referenced before, but the house becomes alive again with each death of human life, till it is in it's splendor, and  continues the process over and over).  This is why she goes back to Kate and warns her not to bring Aaron back to the island.

So perhaps more of a paganstic or ritualistic tone the island responds to or yet maybe a culmination of many religious sects.

I begin to wonder if the island existence is there because of what it is given, sacrifices, Boon was a sacrifice and if it isn't given what it wants does it cease to exist and that is the fear of the Others. The island does not exist therefore it will reduce the remainder of mankind.

Hey I  had a hard day at work and had to keep my mind occupied and this is what you get!  Poke away with kindness please, but if you do remember have some good fact behind it. ;) ((((Huggles to  you all))))

Episode 4x11 / Unsung Hero Frank Lapidus
« on: May 11, 2008, 12:03:09 PM »
After all the threads I didn't see the one that I thought would be right up there.

Frank's throwing the satellite phone onto the beach.   Not only that, but telling Keamy bite me a few times...

He wanted them to know that something is going to happen. As to follow who knows, but he was giving them a warning.

So when Sayid reaches the beach he can fill them in on the happenings on the freighter.

I hope that Frank continues his journey with our friends.  He could be an interesting mix in this cast of characters.

Frank baby you get the unsung hero award for this weeks episode!
