Episode 4x13 / Charlotte's Father and Sister
« on: June 06, 2008, 03:35:24 PM »
Posted as a response to Mango's theory on Widmore and Penny being the same.

IMO after seeing the scene with Charlotte speaking to Miles and her "looking for where she was born" made me think of this thought.

Could Charlotte be the sister of Penny and Charles other Daughter? Only came to mind for the fact that we see Christian Shepard have two children also and from different women. Could this be a sister that Penny has no idea of?
Charlotte would be similar to Claire and Penny to Jack.

Thoughts please.   :)

1. Hurley - has money for a good present and would be funny to see drunk
2. Sawyer - if there's a fight at my party I want Sawyer for backup
3. Kate - need something to look good in a dress   ;)

Episode 4x13 / Island needs a sacrifice
« on: June 02, 2008, 08:17:05 PM »
We all know this line by now, " The Island needed a sacrifice Jack."
Spoken by John Locke himself about the death of Boone.

Did the island need another sacrifice?

John Locke?
Could Christian and Aaron fit in on this?

Any possibilities to what Locke has said?

Episode 4x13 / Who's plan to bring....
« on: May 30, 2008, 03:12:15 PM »
O.K. at the end of the show we see Jack at the funeral home. Jack is there to see the body in the casket and upon opening it Ben arives. Ben mentions to Jack that he has several ideas on how to get back to the island after telling Jack he knows of his repeated flights on OC airlines looking for the island.
Ben basiclly says this -
Jack, Kate, Aaron, Hurley, Sun, Ben, And Locke's body all have to go back. The other idea Ben may have not said might be that Widmore also has to come.
Now when we first learn about Jack he is flying his dead fathers body back home. Who set this plan up?
Christian like Locke was back on the main land thou we never truely know why, similar to Locke coming back.
Who set the first plan "bringing Christian" back in motion?

Episode 4x13 / Rose statement to Miles
« on: May 30, 2008, 01:10:55 PM »
Anyone find it a bit odd that Rose who didn't plan on leaving the island was making a fuss about Mile eating the food?

Episode 4x12 / Is it the shoes!
« on: May 28, 2008, 08:45:53 PM »
Like Michael Jordan, "Is it the Shoes!"

I bring this up because we see of course Christian and his awfully neat, tidy white shoes. These are no ordinary shoes but nurse shoes.
Lets look now at Juliet and how she came to the island and when she awoke she was strapped down in a cot on the sub with her shoes removed.

Why would Juliet have had her shoes removed?
Why the constant imagery of Christian's white shoes?
The OTHERS walkng around w/out shoes?

No shoes on usually means your dead and in a casket.

Episode 4x12 / LOST dog please return
« on: May 28, 2008, 07:37:49 PM »
Anyone seen my golden retriever Vincent?
The island is about to get torched and moved and we haven't seen Vincent running around LOST island since Locke placed the GPS beacon on his collar.

Will the last scene we see be the helicopter lifting off and we see Vincent running down the beach to the coper?

Community Lounge / Locke / Charlotte / Indiana
« on: May 28, 2008, 05:05:12 PM »
Your stuck on mystery island with a 4 toe statue and lost ruins among other things.
Your choices for your guide/archaeologist
John Locke
Indiana Jones

Others could also apply post any you think

I would have a tough time picking between Locke and Indiana. Charlotte of course would walk right into a floor tile that would activate a poison dart killing her or myself.

Other thoughts while on Comic books and LOST.....

Hurley brought a Spanish translation of the Green Lantern and Flash comic book entitled Green Lantern/Flash: Faster Friends #1 (1997) onboard Oceanic 815.

Cover seen here:

"Notcie the two sides of Green Lantern and Flash"

Walt later found this comic amidst the wreckage.

Comic Book plot: Green Lantern and Flash attack and defeat a crashed alien known as "Alien X", without checking to see if it was hostile. Realizing their mistake, they hid the alien's ship where it could not be found. Alien X, who had developed cancer as a result of testing at a government lab, escaped fifteen years later. It was not a coincidence when the original Green Lantern and Flash disappeared at the same time. Their wives called on the then-currently active Green Lantern and Flash, who found the ship, but it was blown up by Alien X. The story continues in Faster Friends #2.

Pages Walt is seen reading are as follows:

[The original PAGE 36 (the English version) reads: ]

LEFT PANEL: Kyle Rayner is on an icy planet. He looks over his shoulder and
finds a polar bear on its hind legs right behind him.
THOUGHT BOX: One of those bearskin rugs ...
THOUGHT BOX: ... with the bear still in it.

RIGHT PANEL 1: Kyle Rayner skids to a halt.

RIGHT PANEL 2: Kyle Rayner comes face to face with a polar bear.
KYLE RAYNER (GREEN LANTERN): Heh. My, what Big Teeth you have.
THOUGHT BOX: Won't Wally look smug when he finds out I wound up as Polar Bear
THOUGHT BOX: I won't give him the satisfaction.

RIGHT PANEL 3: Kyle lifts up his ring and points it at the polar bear.
THOUGHT BOX: Or let down Jay and Alan.
KYLE RAYNER (GREEN LANTERN): I think you need to be reminded ...

(Walt turns the page.)

(The next page is of Jay Garrick, The Flash, and Alan Scott, Green Lantern,
talking with alien. The words are entirely in Spanish.)

[The original PAGE (the English version) reads: ]

TOP LEFT CORNER FRAME: Close-up of hands on keyboard control panel.
SOUNDS: "Chek", "Vneep"
THOUGHT BOX: ... to do something about it.

MAIN CENTER PANEL: [CHAPTER THREE] Alien X talks with Jay and Alan.
JAY GARRICK (FLASH): What are you planning to do? What's the harm in telling
us that much? We're only Puppets to you anyway.
ALIEN X: Dying - is what I am doing. Because of Gunther, because of you, I am
riddled with disease. But I will share my pain.
ALAN SCOTT (GREEN LANTERN): We understand how you must feel. What we did half
a century ago, it was wrong, and what's been done to you since is beyond
forgiveness. But if someone has to pay for that ...

LOWER RIGHT PANEL 1: Close-up of Jay and Alan.
JAY GARRICK: Let it be us.
ALAN SCOTT: No innocents need to be hurt.

LOWER RIGHT PANEL 2: Close-up of Alien X who holds something in his hands.
ALIEN X: Innocents? What would this world know of Innocence, when it --

LOWER RIGHT PANEL 3: Closer of Alien X who turns around.
ALIEN X: --What?
SOUNDS: Kra-Chung

LOST plot: Walt's father, Michael, threw the comic book into the fire after questioning him as to where he got it. Soon after, Walt was attacked by a polar bear similar to the one featured in the comic book. As a child, Walt had received a gift of a stuffed polar bear from Michael.

On the next page of the comic book, there is an image of a castle or fortress in the middle of the ocean surrounded by a giant, glass "snow" dome. Later, in season 2, Desmond returns to the Island, telling the survivors that the island is "like a snow globe. There's no way out."("Live Together, Die Alone")

In the animated Justice League cartoon, set in the same universe as the comic, featured episodes called "Tabula Rasa" and "Hearts and Minds". These are also LOST episode titles as well.

A 3rd Vaguely LOST-related Comic is the 2006 mini-series "Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk" written by Damon Lindelof.

One notable "easter egg" is fond in this series, at least -- where a previous Hulk rampage was said to have killed approximately 800 people, in this tale, lindelof specifically announces the number of dead as being exactly 815 --- DOES THAT NUMBER SOUND FAMILIAR?!?

Episode 4x12 / Capt. Gault sickness Rouso
« on: May 22, 2008, 07:27:36 PM »
After watching last night again the "enhanced" epi of "There's no place like home"
Capt. Gault says the Keamy, "Since you been gone there has been some kind of sickness happening."
Now we can all asume that this is the same "sickness" that Rouso and her scientific party encountered and what ultamately lead Rouso to kill off her team members.
1. Does Rouso get the sickness beleiving that they (research team) are all sick killing them.  (imagine Rouso having a small case of sickness and later when she finally after 16yrs. meets Alex, there's her constant, stopping the sickness. Rouso did become a bit more likeable and not so mean after seeing her daughter.
2. Or does her researcher pals get really sick and she offs them all for them acting weird? Question to why she would off them and not themselves like our freighter crew.

No one has really come close on calling "the sickness" but to explain it being the "curtain" around the island. Could the sickness have a diff. effect on certain people?

Please expand with thoughts

Episode 4x12 / Nikki - "Re-runs or is it?"
« on: May 21, 2008, 03:17:41 PM »
I know that a lot of people on here will jump in right away and just debunk it but I wanted some thoughts.

We see Sun and in the background on the television is the most best-est-est, awsomeness-ness show ever made!
Is that show such a great hit that they have it in re-runs or is Nikki actualy dead?
I say re-runs since the Korean's probably like all that stuff.

Side Note-
Not to mention that Frank's brother was in that same epi.
