Technical difficulties

Is anyone else having technical difficulties watching the finale?  We watch OTA and it's breaking up terribly.

Yes, I am.  Been doing it since 8:45 at least.  And I get a message about technical difficulties that pops up.  It's only the HD feed that's messed up.  I'm watching on standard def now.  Pretty much ruining the finale for me though.

I'm getting that popup too.  I know...it's supposed to be an awesome moment/experience and it's getting ruined.

After halfway through it, they scrolled at the bottom sorry for the technical difficulties, and that they were going to air it again on Saturday.  I'm assuming it's some sort of regional problem.  Lostieloo watching on WEWS?

Cleveland area.  I'm just glad I wasn't the only one.  It was frustrating at key moments having conversation garbled.

today was when that rogue satelite was supposed to interfere with a u.s. satelite and possibly disrupt some programing

Ugh, how horrible.  I just learned it wasn't just OTA, but cable and dish too.  Yes Maxor, it was WEWS.  Until the feeds with the "technical difficulties" I was moving my antenna all around, cursing and throwing an all around tantrum.  I got to see the end, but so much if it was lost.  Yeah, they are going to air it again on Saturday, but the magical moment has already passed.  I'm still pretty pissed.  Maybe it was an electromagnetic interference from the island   ::)

Thanks everyone for hanging with me...my SW family kept me from breaking things!

Yeah, we were blaming Time Warner until we started getting the scrolling messages.  It was funny how they kept advertising the Lost live chat during the show.  I wanted to check it out to see how many people were complaining.  But yeah... standard def played mostly fine.  There were a couple split seconds of flickering color, but that's it.  Still sucked watching it in chopped up low resolution crap.  Like watching with one eye through a screen door after seeing it in HD.

We lost some time with a mis-started commercial break.  We didn't see how they got the tree off Ben, or how Jack landed the flying punch.

Oh, and a giant "BOO" to ABC for adding so many commercials.

I think that was a real commercial break because we got it too.  And then after the commercial, the fight continues.  And Ben getting freed from the tree was a plot hole I noticed too.  If anyone else say anything differently, please share.
