Eyes
The majority of the episodes, including the entire series (in the Pilot) began with closeup scenes of an opening eye. The person's eye who is focused upon is frequently used to show whose point of view the episode will focus on.
In "White Rabbit," Locke says "I've looked into the eye of this island. And what I saw was beautiful."
In "Raised by Another," Claire has a disturbing dream of Locke with one black eye, and one white eye.
In "Exodus," Locke says, "That's why you and I don't see eye-to-eye sometimes, Jack -- because you're a man of science... and I'm a man of faith."
In "The Other 48 Days," Libby finds a glass eye in the Arrow Station chest.
In "Lockdown," the blast door map is reflected in a closeup of Locke's eye.
In "?," we are introduced to the Pearl Station, whose entire purpose is surveillance and watching. The Pearl logo itself could be seen as eye-like.
There is mention on multiple occasions in different episodes (by different characters) that the way to tell if someone is lying to you is if they won't look you in the eye.
