THE HUNT is a scavenger game hosted on this site. Each week, you will have to use a series of LOST-related clues to find information in the real world and on the internet. By putting the pieces of the puzzle together, you will find the solution to the weekly hunt. The first 10 people to enter a correct answer on this page each week will receive points (10pts for 1st, 9 pts for 2nd, and 8pts for 3rd, etc). Whoever has the most points at the end of the game will receive a Season 1 LOST-DVD set (possibly an autographed set).
RULES (Anyone who breaks these rules will be suspended from THE HUNT):
1) You cannot share information with other contestants
2) You must provide your email address each week when you enter your solution, this email address will be used to track your points (but not given to anyone)
3) You will be tracked by IP
4) You can only use one email address - anyone caught playing with multiple accounts will be banned
5) You can only submit one answer each week
6) Solutions will be posted each week for the previous HUNT. Study the solutions to help you do better on future HUNTS.
INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS:
You are welcome to play, but, you may have to help with the cost of shipping if you win. Also, the DVD format will likely be NTSC. If you require a different format, I will try to accomodate, but there are no guarantees.
PREPARE YOURSELF! To do well in THE HUNT, you'll need to know your LOST facts. The more you know, the better. Use this site, and others as resources. You're best friend in THE HUNT will be the GOOGLE BAR at the top of every page on this site.

HUNT 7 SOLUTION
1) Using either an image application, or by printing and manually cutting and pasting, solve the jigsaw puzzle.
2) In the end, you need the Ant's name. This is a play on word Ant/Aunt. You need the name of a particular aunt.
3) You could start at the beginning: the first thing in the riddle is a quote by John Locke. This should point you toward Locke. We don't know Locke's Aunt's name, but, if you know your stuff, you know that on Locke's mother's SRMHI admission form, there is an aunt listed. So, we are not looking for John Locke's aunt, but his mother's aunt.
4) You can also solve the hunt another way... using the Mrs. Barley and "stand still" clues. Mrs. Barley is a character in the classic movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Mrs. Barley was played by actress Frances Bavier, who is best known for playing a character on the old Andy Griffith Show. She played the aunt of Sherriff Andy Taylor.
