One of the two men that came to visit Anthony Cooper's "funeral", and then later paid John Locke & Helen a visit in their home.  Bane and his associate suspected Cooper had faked his death and still owed them money.  He made Locke empty out his bag to see if he was hiding something, but only found work papers.
