Detective Calderwood worked for the Australian Police in Sydney. Sawyer broke a mug on Calderwood's desk when he was arrested and escorted through the station. Three days later, Calderwood brought Sawyer in to let him know he was being deported aboard Flight 815. Calderwood informed Sawyer that the man he head-butted in a bar fight was the Honorable Warren Truss, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry. Calderwood also informed Sawyer he is banned from ever returning to Australia again. It appears that Calderwood had no knowledge Frank Duckett's murder.
