Big Mike was Ana-Lucia's partner on the LAPD. On her first day back on patrol, Mike took them to Westwood, a nice safe neighborhood, at Captain Cortez's direction. While they were on patrol, Ana-Lucia took a domestic disturbance call. Big Mike and Ana arrived on the scene, and Ana-Lucia drew her gun on a suspect when it wasn't necessary. Big Mike reprimanded Ana and told her to holster her weapon. Ana-Lucia was still dealing with issues at the time stemming from being shot on duty four months prior, and losing her unborn baby.
