I just don't buy alternate reality as a viable option. Ever. It doesn't work for me. I think that it is something that people made up so they wouldn't have to worry about consistency and potential flaws. Made up just like elves, gremlins, and eskimos.

Spoilers. Don't even come in this thread if you don't want to be spoiled. Seriously.
I really enjoyed this movie. Did anyone else see it? I totally was shaking my fist at JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof. It definitely reeked of Lostiness in some ways, such as the time manipulation. I feel like the time travel is flawed, but having that understanding that apparently it's okay (to most writers) to change the past by future people/events that only occur if the things in the past happen (seriously... it doesn't make sense), I was able enjoy the movie for what it was: a movie with a great storyline that (with the time travel flaws) gives the franchise the liberty to start completely over and ignore all previous movies/shows. It's like one big do-over. Brilliant. (And flawed.)
Spock and Uhura: whoa. Just... whoa.
The character relationships were great. I really enjoyed the Kirk/Spock drama. Scotty was so cool. It's like a big pay-it-forward, keeping in mind Star Trek IV. Excellent job of blending the old with the new.

I gave it a 9. Kate is JUST STARTING to get on everyone's nerves? Hello? She has been annoying this whole time! That being said, don't kill her just to appease the crowd. We are supposed to be annoyed by her right now.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the episode. Locke is especially perplexing right now, and what can I say? I enjoy the mystery. Thank you, writers of Lost, for keeping the mystery alive in our relationship.
Ditto to LFTS's list for sure. In typical Lost fashion, a so-so (for Lost) episode (5x14) was followed by an excellent teasing episode. I can't believe this season is almost over. It seems like we're just getting started. I am really interested to see how this will all turn out. All I know is that if there is a war, I want Richard on my team. He's pretty intense. We did have tons of fun! I remember when we did that Amazing Race. That was so much fun chatting and everything.
I remember when I thought that SOL was not sweet, old, or a lady. Um... yeah...
I just saw this thread, and I'll have to add some more when I have time to look through it all to make sure I don't repeat. Just know that when I saw this, I thought to myself, "The funniest times to me were probably the ones that I shouldn't bring up." But I am glad to see that many of them have already been mentioned.
Also, I love THE HUNT. I'm just saying.

I gave it an 8. There were so many things that I loved. I really enjoyed the Hurley/Miles conversation, for sure. I also like how I can still have theories popping up all over the place in my head about what's going to happen still. I haven't been on here and really discussed theories for a while, so maybe mine have already been debunked, but I like it just the same.
I like musing over Ben and whether he really did have a recollection of all of the survivors. I love noting which passengers are where, wondering what happened to some, etc.
I didn't like the Sawyer/Kate/Jack/Juliet drama, but that is my constant for Lost. My constant annoyance. Except, oddly enough, I did like that Jack told Kate that she never liked him before. That rocked. Go Jack. I like surly and frank Jack. It's kind of cool that who the survivors were is now who they're not. Oh, you tricksy writers...

I gave it a 9. I really, really liked it. Maybe it's because I've been so starved for Lost for months and months, but this was like a breath of fresh air.
I loved all of the Hurley parts. The hot pocket was hilarious. His comment to Sayid about comfort foods was also hilarious.
And now for the part where I nearly cried because I love the writers so much. I love how Daniel talked about how you can't change the past. No matter how hard you try, you can't change it (except, I guess, Desmond). But I like that because the past already happened. That is how time ... travel or whatever you call it... works in my mind. So... woohoo for Damon and Carlton. Kisses from Cardi for that one.
Anyway, I love LOST. So happy to be watching new episodes. Yay!
