I don't think he'll die either.  But if he does, oh well.  I'm sure they'll be sticking Charlie in lots of dangerous situations now so we'll be left on edge and then he'll end up dying when we least expect it if it will happen at all.  I'm 60% sure he'll live.  If he dies, I can picture Desmond being incapacitated somehow and Claire in danger, and Charlie accepts his fate to save Claire.

Maybe Claire will die so then Charlie won't die trying to save her.  I still don't think he time traveled.  I think the idea that it's all a simulation like The Matrix is a more plausible theory than time travel (although I hope that's not going on either).  I still say it was just a smoke monster test and it was all in Desmond's head.  Unless we all want to say that getting knocked in the head is the key to time travel.

And I think destiny can still be changed as long as you make the right choices.  Desmond realized he repeated the same mistake when he had a chance to make things right for him.  I think the old lady was full of **** and it was just another smoke monster test.  And maybe if Desmond chose to marry Penny, he would've ended up like Ecko.

I don't think Desmond really went back in time.  You don't go back in time after getting knocked out.  And you don't see creepy old ladies who know the truth about you.  It sounds like it was a test from the monster instead.

I don't think Charlie will die just for the simple reason that they say he is going to die.  If they kept that part quiet for a few episodes and let people figure it out for themselves, I would've believed it.  Like if Claire was the one who was meant to die.  I was thinking she was going to die until Desmond explained that it was Charlie he kept saving.  But since he said it's going to happen, then I bet it won't and either they'll find a way to "change" things or someone else will be sacrificed.  After all, if Charlie sticks to Desmond, he can pretty much never die. I hope they don't go the Final Destination route.

Once again, I think the hatch exploding has unleashed some sort of plague since the first thing I noticed last season when it exploded was the quarantine sign falling on the beach.  And during the survivor guide, they emphasized that we'd find out the consequences to the hatch exploding this season and they showed that same scene with the quarantine sign to illustrate that.

That's what I think too and felt that was the impression the show was giving.  I doubt that he's her biological father.  He's probably the one who stole her and raised her as his own.  It shows he's been on the island for at least 16 years, maybe he really has been on it his whole life.

The whole fertility aging thing still doesn't make sense to me in relation to the Others.  If there is an aging problem then why live on the island?  I could understand if there was a possibility of the rest of the world being destroyed and the island having the only life on earth, but season 2 finale showed that there is an outside world.  Biologically, I don't see how a womb can age faster than the rest of a woman.  And I don't think the actual people are aging any differently.  It's a big leap for a 26 year old to age 44 years.  The Others would be showing signs of aging by now, such as Juliet who we've now observed pre- and post-island.

I knew that scene was coming.  It was almost exactly like a scene from Nip/Tuck.  When Juliet said that was the only way for her to work for them, I knew he'd really get hit by one.  And when they were talking, I said look there's a bus back there, and I asked my brother if they'd do the Nip/Tuck quick smash or will he bounce around a few times like in Meet Joe Black.

I think the screen cap moment was probably the Jacob thing.  The producers said in their podcast that Jacob is an important name and to look for it in coming episodes and they seemed to hint that he's the head of everything.  It's purposely meant to have a dual meaning both biblical and relating to this mysterious "leader."
