Episode 6x14 / Re: Time of Jacob & MIB's birth
« on: May 16, 2010, 08:28:40 AM »
We know the donkie wheel still has to be build and used. So it is possible that smokie made someone do this and by doing that they go back to ancient times resulting in the statue and the temple being build. So Jacob and Smokie could be there for a very long time indeed.

The bomb went off resulting in the new timeline we see in LA

But at the same time that the bomb went off a flash forward in time occured sending them back to 2007 or so, with the result that the losties continued on their original timeline.

So there are two timelines now.

If the bomb went off without the flashforward and killed the losties, there would only be one timeline where the plane never crashed.

It is quite simple in a complicated way

I am probably missing something, but if the incident is so bad and causes the button to be pushed every 108 min. How come they have time to finish the station with all the button pushing equipment

I believe Locke will cause the Incident. Thats the only way to get the losties back into the right time. It's Locke who always pushed the button believing there was something special about it. The special thing is he made it necessary.

I see possible answers, just have problems which to choose.
But I still believe Dharma does that for the DI survivors, because I think they know the Swan is still open for business, and they might even think more DI members took refuge in the Swan.

The fact that there was a Dharma food drop means that at that point someone did the drop at the exact location. It could be Dharma thinking that station was still active, but that confuses me even more. But we know Dharma can find the Island through Miss Hawking'  dharma toys. So is it safe to conclude Dharma is still active but not willing to come back to the Island, but they do feel responsibable for any Dharma leftovers. They don't dare to come back to rescue any survivors, and dropping food packs is the least they can do?

I think the drawing of Smokey with a face is a clue that it's really Smokey who is turning into these reanimated dead people -- Christian, Claire (sorry, she's dead), JOHN (who I now think is the same as Christian), Alex, and many more.

Richard himself doesn't seem to be judgmental at all.  About the only decision I can recall him making himself was, taking into consideration for Ben to become an Other when they first meet, and then taking it upon himself to take wounded Ben into the Temple.  Everything else, he seems to just be a second-in-command to Jacob/the Island.

I don't believe John is dead. If John is dead then why does Smokey (Alex) tells Ben not to kill Locke again. You can't kill someone who is dead already.

Episode 5x12 / Dharma food drop
« on: April 14, 2009, 01:38:25 PM »
Hi everybody,

I have been struggling with this ever since season 2 I believe. At a certain point there is large dharma crate with food dropped right in front of the losties. But as we all know Dharma was at that point no longer active on the island.
I visit this site frequent, but never saw an explanation or reference to this.
I know this is not directly related to season 5 but it keeps hurting my head.
So if anybody knows something that i missed....

Maybe Danielle is the young girl Ben was friends with when he was young.

I think Ben left Locke there knowing he will recover, and then Locke goes back to Jacob and do whatever he has to do.

When Locke entered the hatch for the first time desmond asked: are you him?

Have we ever gotten an explenation who he meant with him? Did he just mean someone to release him pushing the button?

Has everyone forgotten that Locke killed Mikhail a week earlier?

The others probably dont know it yet, but we do.
If Locke can kill someone for not being friendly, why cant he kill his dad?
