I think the question would be, what were they expected to be doing in Canada that must've taken 16 years or so with no contact when Patchy seems to be in control of communications.  Did he think they were dead or what?  They must've been down there for a while to maintain secret hatch operations.  And Daniel's transmission has probably been blocked for the last 16 years.

The Comms to/from the Flame have been down/blocked since the Pearl blew up. Thats when they went to the looking glass. The 16 year transmission has been ignored since it was not on any key channels that the Flame used.

I sure do hope that they don't go in a "time machine" route. I think that would just mess up the entire show.

I am still convinced that the lady in the portrait is Karen DeGroot.  Hopefully that is one of the things we will learn about in Season 4.

Yeah Ben likes rabbits and she likes hampsters, maybe all the Dharmites had animals that they were testing with life extension. Would be cool if that was same rabbit since he was a kid, well cool until Alex choped it up.

Ok if he is still alive in season 4, then this proves that the island brings people back to life and Christian will be in season 6.

I am trying my hardest to figure out why so many people keep saying theres a space time warp thing going on. At which point in the show did they even hint at this being a possibility?

Nikki Palou were never Rose and Bernard.
Satalite phone that looks like a yet to be released iPhone is a lame reason.
Desmond not in Charlies flashback, was proven to be differant day.

This just sounds like a cop-out way to prove your point, just like the station binder that Sayid has.

Please present your reasons for believing that there is a time/space anomaly or alternate timelie.

Anyone else get the same feeling as watching season 2 finale?

Jack was so sure about his decision which ends up biting him in the butt. Locke was so sure that nothing would happen in the hatch.

Both said they were wrong at the end of the episode.

Well, then they need to take another looksie at the scene where Arntz(sp) was blown to pieces....literally.  That is why at least a little gush of red water would have made it 100% to me.
