I wasn't sure where to post this so to be safe I posted in spoiler. Anyway in the season 6 bonus CD Walt gets offered a job. Is he going to be the new Richard? So I suppose he will be able to connect with his dad again here too which will be good for him. I have to say though --he grew up in NYC so how does he end up in a mental institution in Santa Rosa?  :D

Episode 6x13 / Re: LOST Finale extended by 30 minutes!

I'm half inclined to agree on this one Madam. The thing about a 6 season series is that it does evolve, as I think everyone would agree Lost did. The issue with the psychic is one where you COULD buy Darlton's explaination that he was a hack and happened to get it right, but I don't really think that is the case seeing as how he returned her money. Maybe what he saw was a forshadowing of the events that would happen to Aaron. Maybe he saw that and then tried to convince Claire that she should not get on the plane to give Aaron away. Maybe all that happened while Jacob was watching, and went to see the psychic to inform him of the part Claire may be destined for as a candidate. Jacob tells him he needs to make sure Claire is on that plane.

I think he foresaw Kate raising Aaron and also saw that it made Claire crazy so he wanted to make sure she raised him and not a squirrel baby. He may have even been seen her following Christian/MIB into the jungle and abondoning Aaron.... this is the theory that makes the most sense in my head even if TPTB had originally had a different idea about it.

Episode 6x16 / Re: Where you ready to let go, to move on?
« on: June 06, 2010, 09:55:56 PM »
As much as I loved the finale, and the whole story of Lost, I'm really missing it. I've never enjoyed watching a show that much, and I may never find a show that I like that much again. It's an old saying in show business, "Always leave the audience wanting more." That certainly applies to Lost.

There's part of me that hopes, maybe one day, ABC's ratings will be terrible, and they'll make a sequel, Lost: The Hurley Years. But even that, like most sequels, will pale in comparison. So really all I'm left with is going back and watching the DVD's now that it's over. And I will because I feel I "have to go back."

I agree! I really miss Lost and there is nothing out there that fills the void it left... I am anxiously waiting for the season 6 DVD to come out so I can have the 20 extra minutes they say is on there.

Episode 6x16 / Re: Unanswered Questions
« on: June 01, 2010, 01:06:55 PM »
OK--here's a wierd question. My son was over this weekend and I was telling him all the answers that I have figured out (from everyone here help  ;)). I was doing great and even said "ask me anything" and he asked whose glass eye was it that was in the hatch the tailies discovered. I said it was Patchy's but was there a story behind how it got in there? Does anyone remember?

I realize this question and answer isn't a burning question that needs to be answered in order to understand the show.....just a trivial one...

MIB was looking for the light for centuries so he wouldn't have been able to bring anyone there.
