Miles Strom - I took the lead from another poster on this; his name is, in itself, "maelstrom"
Daniel Farraday - Michael Farraday discovered electro-magnetic induction
Frank Lepidus - as fans of HBO's Rome would remember, Lepidus was the third member of the Triumvirate along with Marc Antony and Octavian

Is it not possible that the Looking Glass station and the Hydra are one and the same?     When they talked about it being underwater, I thought immediately of Jack's escape attempt in 3x1.  Which of course would make Juliet a liar still, since she says neither she nor anyone else she knows has ever been there.  What do you think?

 thought it was interesting that they had so many people there, even though a group left to go to the boat. Also, all of them were doing nothing.

Have you ever seen a road get repaired around New York City?  One guy working and twelve guys watching. 

But really, I was wondering that too.  What is the purpose of the work and why are there so many Others hanging around?
