This new sci-fi show looks promising.  I'm going to give it a whirl.  Anyone else interested?

TV & Movies / Persons Unknown
« on: July 12, 2010, 04:49:30 PM »
Am I the only one watching this?  It's a mini-series on NBC.  By the end of the summer we'll know all the answers.  They promised!  On NBC's website it calls this "Season 1" which implies there will be a season 2.

TV & Movies / Eleventh Hour
« on: October 24, 2008, 06:24:52 AM »
I'm enjoying this show.  Is anyone else watching?  What I like most about it is that the people seem more real than on most shows.  The bad guys aren't really bad.  They are ordinary people who make mistakes, mostly.  I guess I'm tired of stories about evil malicious people and conspiracies and stuff like that.

TV & Movies / The Amazing Race TV Show

I can't find a thread for this show so I'm starting one.  Does anyone else watch it?

TV & Movies / The Baby Borrowers - NBC

This is pretty good.  They're going to repeat the series opener on Wednesday, followed by the second episode.  Very interesting.

TV & Movies / I Survived a Japanese Game Show

This show is a whole lot better than I expected!  I laughed a lot.

TV & Movies / The Mole
« on: June 04, 2008, 07:31:21 AM »
Is anybody watching this show?  I watched the first episode and rewatched my tape.  My early prediction for the Mole's identity is Craig.  It's not so much what happened during the show as it is the way they were introduced in the beginning.  When they are introduced their name, age, occupation and city are shown.  Craig's data was displayed just a tiny bit differently.  Did you notice?

Theories & Speculation / Sawyer Time-tripping?
« on: March 28, 2008, 01:00:22 AM »
I was going to post this in "Crackpot Theories", but I'm serious.

A while back I started a thread about the cigarettes in Christian's hotel room in White Rabbit.  We never figured out who the mystery smoker was.  Now I think it was Sawyer time-tripping back to the period when he met Christian at the bar.  Sawyer and Christian met in Australia so they were both in the same place at the same time.  It's possible.......

It could be that Sawyer was trying to change the past by saving Christian's life so Jack wouldn't have to come to Australia to collect his Dad's body.  If Jack didn't get on the plane maybe it wouldn't have crashed.  Or something like that.  I'm hoping we'll eventually find out who the mystery smoker was.

Websites / JibJab greetings
« on: January 07, 2008, 10:18:07 PM »
My sister sent me a JibJab greeting showing her and her husband dancing.  It's hilarious!  I thought I'd share this with you guys.

I think if you go to you can make your own.

Allow me to make the new thread.  I'm so ready for tonight!   :)

EDIT:  I became a DHARMA Work Woman a while ago and I just now noticed it!  :)

TV & Movies / Dancing With the Stars
« on: October 03, 2007, 10:29:56 PM »
I know I'm not the only one watching this show!  Now it's down to all the contestants I like.  I'm seriously in love with Elio (sp?).  I think Cheetah girl might win it all.  Scary Spice is a contender.  Mark Cuban won me over not with his dancing but with what he said about Donald Trump.  Jane Seymour is wonderful!  Marie Osmond is trying so hard.  I'm glad Wayne Newton is still in it, but he really isn't very good.  He might be next to go.  I think this year's winner will be a girl.  It's about time!  Is anyone else watching?

TV & Movies / Harold Perrineau on CSI
« on: October 02, 2007, 10:55:47 PM »
Harold Perrineau will make a guest appearance on CSI Thursday, Oct 11.  He plays a reverend linked to a grisly murder case.  A whole family is murdered except for one member who seems to be possessed by the devil.  Sounds interesting.

TV & Movies / Kid Nation
« on: September 20, 2007, 10:10:49 PM »
Well, I watched the premiere episode expecting not to like the show very much, but I like it a lot.  The kids are very bright and seem really nice.  It's refreshing to watch a reality show where the contestants cooperate with each other.  And there were no bleeps or blurry circles!  And at each town meeting one kid chosen by the council members gets a prize of $20,000 for contributing the most to the town during the previous week.  The challenges were fun, too.  I recommend it for family viewing.

TV & Movies / Cane - new tv show
« on: June 21, 2007, 06:23:36 AM »
Tonight I was watching Fox 11 and saw a promo for a new show called Cane.  It has Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) in it.  It didn't look like he has a big part, but it will be fun to see him in something else.

EDIT:  Strange.  I just saw the same promo on CBS.  I guess Cane will air on CBS.

Theories & Speculation / Karl and Danielle - - have they met?
« on: May 18, 2007, 12:51:33 AM »
When Karl came dashing out of the outrigger and up the beach, was Danielle among the Losties?  After Karl turned his gun over to the Losties so they would have enough firepower, did he leave?  Or did he stay?  Alex and Karl are very close and probably tell each other everything.  I'll bet Alex told Karl what Sayid said about her mother.  If she did, then if Karl sees Danielle he might put two and two together and conclude that Danielle is Alex's mother.  So, my question is do you think Karl saw Danielle? ???
