Spoiler Theories and Speculation / The job
« on: August 27, 2010, 07:13:48 PM »
I wasn't sure where to post this so to be safe I posted in spoiler. Anyway in the season 6 bonus CD Walt gets offered a job. Is he going to be the new Richard? So I suppose he will be able to connect with his dad again here too which will be good for him. I have to say though --he grew up in NYC so how does he end up in a mental institution in Santa Rosa?  :D

Episode 6x16 / Great recap
« on: May 26, 2010, 08:52:24 PM »
here is a great recap of The End from Vozzek at Dark UFO. It puts everything in perspective--at least for me

Episode 6x16 / Positive thoughts on the finale
« on: May 26, 2010, 09:12:01 AM »
With so many people discussing what they didn't like about the finale I thought why not a thread of the favorite parts of the finale. I loved the expression on Hurley's face when he went and got Charlie. He was so happy!

Episode 6x16 / Richard and Frank
« on: May 24, 2010, 09:36:49 AM »
I was so happy to be wrong! It was great seeing them alive!!

Episode 6x16 / ALT Timeline
« on: May 24, 2010, 09:22:34 AM »
I am not sure so please help!

Episode 6x16 / David
« on: May 24, 2010, 08:54:16 AM »
Can someone explain to me who David is/was. Why was he in the flash sideways? Why did Locke tell him he didn't have a son?

Spoiler Theories and Speculation / Spoiler?? about Illana
« on: May 21, 2010, 06:10:06 PM »
I heard today that the actress that played Illana confirmed that she was to be Jacob's daughter. TPTB ran out of time to incorporate that story so she was killed off. It's amazing to me that they had her story start at the end of season 5 and then decided they didn't have the time for it. I thought they had this all planned out??

Episode 6x15 / Rules
« on: May 21, 2010, 09:21:40 AM »
So Jack is the protector now. Since he is in charge and it's his job now can he change the rules? Perhaps we will get a more detailed expanation of  the rules as he learns he can change them.

Episode 6x16 / Rose, Bernard, and Vincent
« on: May 19, 2010, 02:52:49 PM »
Will we get any closure on these characters. Like what happened to them after the bomb? They are not Adam and Eve so they should be alive...

Episode 6x15 / Just names on a wall
« on: May 19, 2010, 10:40:59 AM »
So anyone really can be a candidate then. So if Jack should die anyone can step up.

Episode 6x14 / Foreshadowing?
« on: May 14, 2010, 10:18:34 AM »
Is Jacob's brother's unconcious trip down into the light cave a foreshadowing for one of our Losties? Does the new candidate accidently push one of the Losties down the cave...and the cycle then starts again?

Kind of creepy but it seems like something the writers could do....

Episode 6x14 / What About Kate?
« on: May 14, 2010, 10:14:04 AM »
I am not a big kate fan so haven't thought too much about her. However, today I was trying to figure something out...

As part of the Oceanic 6, Kate seemed to be having the best life of all of them. She was settled with Aaron and for the most part everything was good. Not so for Hurley, Jack, Sayid, and Sun (Sun was w/o Jin).

As part of the sideways timeline Kate is the one who is not settled and still on the run. Everyone else seems to be happier in this timline.

Her name is crossed off in the Cave.

So what gives with Kate? I mean she is a pretty big character whether you like her or not. Why is her story the opposite from eveyone elses??? What is her fate?

My first guess is that she dies in both timelines......

LOST Talk / TPTB's plan to make even more money
« on: May 12, 2010, 09:16:16 AM »
I think TPTB are setting us all up. TPTB have said once the show is over it is over. No room for sequels or continuation of the story. What if they are planning to do a prequel much like George Lucas did with the Star Wars movies. The episode last night created so many new questions and barely answered anything. So, imo they are planning a prequel movie in a few years which will lead to a resurgence in the series--making them more money.... I feel duped....

Episode 6x14 / Apparition of the real mother
« on: May 11, 2010, 11:46:08 PM »
So how did she appear to MIB? There was no Smokey at that time so I guess she was a ghost. Does that mean the other people seen after death are also ghosts? I know MIB said he appeared as Christian to help Jack find water but what about the other times?

Also why couldn't Jacob see his real mother?
