Episode 6x16 / Re: Best LOST Memory

it's hard to choose "the" wtf moment of the series, as there were so many.  some old-school folks may remember me as a sappy romantic, so it won't surprise you that my favorite scene is when sawyer flashes back and sees kate helping claire deliver aaron.  second fave is the Shambala scene.  hm.  two sawyer scenes.  :wicked:

a very, very belated thank you to everyone involved with the site.  i haven't been able to be around much in the past few seasons, but i did so very much enjoy the theories and fact-finding, and the off-topic forums where i met some wonderful people.  much love from Q and little Q (sock sister #2)

richard's answer seems to be well-covered here in other threads, but not the pre-ben's temper tantrum dialogue :)

GAH!  at about the 1:52-54 mark, just as ben and john had begun speaking with jacob, our frickin' broadcast went Soprano on us.  what was said (i think to "john" by jacob) immediately before ben was given the choice of doing as instructed or letting "john" and jacob talk out their issues?
ETA corrected time.

i haven't caught up with all the foodie threads, but here's what rocks with cream cheese:  green pepper/jalapeno jelly (home-canned, of course) with cream cheese.  choose your own cracker.  light wheat thins are good.  carry on....

Ouchie!  That was like the IV I had while I was being induced for Esther.  The pseudo-nurse stuck it right against my wrist bone.  I delivered Esther then said, "Get me a roast beef sandwich and get this *%^%!)* IV out!"  It hurt worse than the kid!

jeesh, fine, it's been over 120 days, so sue me. i am just catching up and have to share with the other moms (and dads in the delivery room)...that pseudo-nurse must have been the same one who tried to give me an iv and ended up creating a bloody fountain.  i did not see it but i felt it (very long and miserable delivery), and my BFF was in there with me and i can still hear her gasp of horror.  then later on as i was in and out of awareness, i remember her and my husband whispering along the lines of "they need to get that nurse out of here".  luckily a new nurse came on shift soon afterward.  the next day my friend told me the first nurse casually reached over and grabbed a feminine hygiene product to sop up the blood.

you have your whole life ahead of you to have more awesome days.  more of them, and ones that are "more awesome".  :)
funny, my memorable days are downers.  i don't want to drag down the thread so let's just say that they are days that opened my heart and eyes to the fact that it isn't just all about me.

carry on with the cheerful ones....quick, someone go!
