This is just silly. There is no basis for this conclusion, just wild guessing.

Last we saw John he had a broken leg. He now has a cast. I think the logic is pretty simple here.
Still poo-pooing on everyone's threads I see.  You have to be the biggest wet blanket on the board.  You have no imagination whatsoever.

Who invited Hurley and Sayid?
  We don't know yet.

Episode 4x13 / Re: Polar Bear Thoughts

Makes good sence, but how would a polar bear know when exactly to push the wheel?

I had to laugh at this. Only in the world of Lost would we say a polar bear pushing a wheel to make an Island move in time and space makes sense.  ;D
Not only that, but it has to be one of the worst speculative Lost theories ever.  First of all, it was only 'half a donkey wheel', not a full wheel around, so there would be nowhere for the polar bears to 'pull' it to.  It could only be pushed by someone with arms and a human intelligence, because you would have to have leverage from the front of the wheel, not from the back, which a bear could only do.  A bear could not 'push' the wheel, only it pull it around, and the wheel did not go all the way around.  It was only half a wheel.  Sheesh.

Episode 4x13 / Re: Is Locke actually Dead?
« on: December 28, 2008, 01:12:51 AM »
I too, think Locke may still be 'alive' and only in a spider induced coma with Ben's help.  Personally,, I can't believe I just typed that but I think they are going to throw us for a loop with the Locke is dead twist.

Episode 4x13 / Re: Locke's reason for leaving the island...

I was actually against the teleportation/time travel thing, but I guess I can't argue it now, so I might as well start trying to make it make sense.
Ahh, it's so much fun to be right!

Season 5 / Re: Season 5 Hype Thread

The first 2 epi's of this new season look to be fantastic.  After reading some of the spoilers (that I won't mention) for the rest of the episodes, my bet is that we get 4 or 5 epi's that are so-so and then  Lost comes roaring back again for the final 5 or so epi's with the finale being a mindbender.

Episode 4x13 / Re: What can we expect from Season 5

I'm wondering how the fan base will hold on after the island disappeared....I personally loved the finale...but will the majority hangon...will the majority think it jumped the shark....

The island didn't disappear. It "moved."  Now, whether that means it moved in location or moved in time... that's what will keep the viewers tuned in.
Damon said specifically that it didn't "move" physically.  It simply changed time dimensions.  Everything and everyone are still intact.

Episode 4x13 / Re: Walt has to go back too!
« on: June 02, 2008, 05:59:49 PM »
This is one of those ideas where the more you think about it the more confusing it gets, well to me anyway :P

In the time Locke was on the Island, after the O6 leave, the Island is 'moved' etc upto him leaving did he find out all the answers, such as why they wanted Walt, why they were considered 'special', why Walt 'appeared' to him while he was in the pit of Dharma bodies etc?
Im mulling over a doppelganger situation, the black vs white, good vs evil idea. Is there still a variant of Walt on the Island, the one who visited Locke, and the two have to be reunited? If this was the case is there a variant of other people on the Island and in the real world too?
If Locke was going under a different name why wasnt Walt? It wouldnt take long for people to realise Walt was on the plane too, questions would be asked as to how he survived etc.. (or has this already been answered and I missed it?)

To me it has to be one of 2 theories, either dopplegangers/ farmilliars  or simply (I know its not 'simple' :)) ghosts?
Ghost Walt on the Island, ghost Christian, Charlie etc off the Island visiting Jack, Hurley etc...

Basically I would have thought Locke has learnt why Walt was wanted by the Others, his special abilities etc and so may have visited Walt in much the same way that Richard visited Locke as a child, to see if he was ready?

And yes, I would have though Locke wanted Walt to return, maybe why he didnt tell him Michael was dead - after all it was Jacob/ Christian who 'allowed' Michael to die so i presume Locke knew but led Walt to believe he was still alive to give him a reason to want to go back?

The "ghost" Walt confuses me the most.  Most of the "ghosts" are dead people, but Walt is alive and he appeared on the Island while living in NY?  Another question to add to the long list of questions I have I guess.
According to Ms. Klugh, Walt is "able to appear in places where he shouldn't be".  Walt is not a ghost or dead or anything, but has special abilities to project himself.  Why he is doing it, no one understands at this point.

Episode 4x13 / Re: oceanic 6 story of lies
« on: June 02, 2008, 05:45:45 PM »
I think Widmore took the black box before sinking the plane - however, where would he get an Oceanic Boeing jet from and would it come with a black box included? I suppose im guessing he got hold of a salvage plane rather than a brand new one.

Also, why would the black box from the plane be on the freighter?
No one ever said that the bodies were recovered, only found in the trench still inside the plane.  No identification process was conducted, no bodies (that we are made aware of) were ever brought back up and ID'd.

As to the reason why the black box was on the freighter, how Widmore got it first, and what is on it we can only speculate. But I'm guessing the black box scene with the Captain was only to convince Desmond and Sayid that Widmore would go to such lengths to cover up the real crash and it's real whereabouts (not the Sundra trench).

Anyone else wish they had shown a glimpse of Mr. Eko playing chess with Hurley last night?  He was one of my favorite characters and I got all excited and then they just showed an empty chair.  Would have loved to see more of Charlie this season, too.
YES.  My favorite Lost character.  Desmond is #2.  If they kill Desmond next year I will quit watching.

There's a "Weekend at Bernie's" reference in there somewhere.

Episode 4x13 / Re: What about Dan??
« on: May 30, 2008, 05:16:54 PM »
im not sure but i think he was within the boundries and moved with the island
But if Daniel was 'in the boundaries", why wasn't the chopper?  The chopper was even closer to the island as they were going towards it to land there.  This doesn't make any sense.

Episode 4x13 / Re: Who Took The Photo?
« on: May 30, 2008, 04:33:08 PM »
Didn't the Oceanic lady state in the opening of the press conference that "a tourist snapped this photo as they came ashore"?  Did you see any tourists?  I didn't.  And I don't believe those islanders would have a Canon 8 megapixel digital in stashed away in their fishing boat either.  Something else is going on here.

Episode 4x13 / Re: Polar Bear Thoughts

There is definitley a magic box.

Here are my thoughts in another thread regarding polar bears being trained donkeys or used as domestic farm animals.  Not gonna happen IMO.

"Just to be clear, donkey's could have never turned that wheel (neither could polar bears for that matter), because they have no hands.  There was no way to 'walk around' 360 degrees and turn the wheel, they would have to be able to walk through walls, which we know is not even possible on Lost.   Only one side of the wheel was accessible because of the wall. The wheel had to be turned by humans with hands."
