For some reason I didn't remember the preview like that.

Little more detail? How about a TON of more details. Such as Locke wanting the submarine, and Kate meeting jack and being captured! Great find, why do the Canadians get better stuff than us. First they get the Trailer Park Boys and now they get the best Lost previews. We might as well all go Canuck.

Detctive Reed ... Interesting ... Looks like we get to see or might get to see what happened to the guy who was undercover in Lockes previous flashback episode earlier this season if I'm not mistaken. Finally all those people who bitched about getting blueballed at the end of the episode will find out what happened to this guy. Looks to me like Locke is under arrest in this flashback. There's your answer.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this on the Canadian trailer. Just after Jack tells Kate to "Just get out of here" she is thrown to the floor by a male. It is a quick shot but my computer happened to freeze at the right time. I am sure it was Michael!

IMO, it is the same man that was handcuffing Jack a couple of episodes ago. He does look like Michael, but it's not. He's also seen on the beach as a tailie. ;)

Sounds like a spoiler :)
It looks very much like Locke blew up the sub once again cementing the fact that John Locke is very happy to stay on the Island seeing how the sub seems to be the main transport to and from the Island.

I don't think it is LB. Reasons why...his shirt, bald head, and he even said he was wanting the sub. So..I personally predicted this one to my husband last night. Dude is going to blow up the sub. lol

He's holding his hands up...is someone standing there with a gun on him? Who is it?? lol
AND, in the lil clip you can see jack bent over doing whatever and he turns his face towards the camera (whoever or whatever he is looking towards) and a flash of light goes off...could he be there about to take a sub to the states when Locke decides to blow the dang thing up?!?!?  :o
Notice the bruised eye of Locke...looks like he's in a "cell" like Jack was...I bet Jack didn't cry over this one and beat the snot out of Locke!  :D

I think John wants to stay on the island forever.  I think, without having a family, he has found a home and a family-like network that he doesn't want to let go of.  I think he even would prevent anyone else from leaving the island just so that he can have his family bliss.  He is pissed that the Others are ruining that, so he is going in to kick some Others-ass.

Splitting the trailer up Im pretty confident that Locke with his hands up and the explosion behind him (pretty sure thats the Sub going boom) is present time, on the Island.
The Locke we see with the gown on, black eye being lifted onto a bed is the past, Im sure this is the flashback showing Locke and how he ended up in a wheelchair, looks like he blew something up there too.

Kate and Sayid were there to rescue Jack, however Locke wasnt interested in Jack, he just wants the Sub and judging by these scenes it seems he wants to blow it up so that no-one leaves the Island.

Locke is happy here, he can walk, he is in control of his own destiny and to a certain extent he has respect. He can support himself (hunting) and he can stick up for himself too, notably the spat he had with Jack over the hatch. John Locke seems to know, more than any other survivor, how this Island ticks, he seems to have some understanding of the inner secrets of the Island.
In the real world before he was on the Island Locke was looked down on, not just because he was in the wheel chair but because he seems very easily led. His father used him for his kidney, his boss had no respect for him, he became infactuated with a woman on a phone line (think we will find out more about the mysterious Helen characted in this episode) and most recently he was working for a comune who were growing weed  behind his back.

The John Locke on the island is a very different John Locke in the real world, he is stronger, more respected, can fend for himself and is very strong willed too. No wonder he wants to stay here!  ;)

This is what i guess, if compare with the expo in the 3x11, the expo in "The Man From Tallahassee" seem like blew up under water......... what do you think?

Got to remember that the explosion in 'Enter 77' consisted of a complete bunker rigged with explosives, I think Locke only had 1 'pack' of explosives in his ruck sack. Therefore the explosions would look different.
Looking at the trailer for this weeks show theres a snippet of Locke looking into a shaft, judging by the 'hands up' picture it looks more likley that he blew the shaft up rather than the sub.

Remember the game Locke was playing on his break at the box company?  What was he called.......was it Sgt. Locke, or something like that?  I think he is in that "game" mode, and is going militant on us.  I think he is hiding stuff from the other losties because he knows that the less someone knows about something, the less they can talk about something.  I think we have seen the beginnings of Locke being a leader!!

Nice remark Nancy. But Colonel Locke looks more like a dictator and conqueror than a leader. Jack and a less frightened Sayid are more like leaders to me.

I don't think Locke blew up the sub.  I believe the sub would have some sort of conning tower, a raised portion in the middle of the sub.  That would be the place to drop the explosives to do the most damage.  This looks like it is just a hatch in the ground.

I still have no freaking clue as to what the relationship between Dharma, the Others, and the Island is, and it's driving me nuts!  But, I am so psyched about finding out how Locke got in the wheelchair, because I think it's going to tell us a whole lot about what's going on with him right now.  And, I'm looking forward to him confronting Ben.  I don't really care about them finding the sub, because we have known about it for so long, and the whole Kate and Jack thing is giving me "Party of Five" flashbacks, so I'm ready to see some action!

Found on ew.com in Doc Jensen column.

I can tell you with certainty that the episode contains some truly stunning developments pertaining to the future of the castaways on the Island..

Your tease for tonight's episode from executive producer Damon Lindelof is as follows:

''The final five seconds of this episode are my favorite five seconds of the season.''

Sounds like a great episode. I am so ready!!

If one of the Others asks Locke, "don't you know me?" If momento's of Locke's past are in the possession of the Others, or if Jack "wants" to fix Ben, then the Grand Unifying Theory is strengthened.  It makes sense that, if the Others are able travel to various quantum realities (watch What the Bleep movie or read the grand unifying theory on this page), then it really doesn't matter when someone joins the Others.  They are able to travel back to a time preceding their entry.  Thus, Jack or Locke may have been the Great Man who recruited Mikail.  If this is not the blend of science and spirituality that explains the happenings on the island, I don't know what will.

Puff,

That could seriously be the answer.  LOST has sometimes been tied to The Philadelphia Experiment.  In a movie about that subject, a 30 something man and a woman that travelled back in time from the 1980s-90s are dropped on a desert island right after the beginning of WWII.  Later on in the movie, when the remainder of the time travelling crew returns to the present, a limo pulls up, the window rolls down, and lo and behold it's the two people dropped on the island, but now in their 70s!  In another popular urban myth similar to the LOST story, a man is inexplicably drawn to investigate this abandoned military base, and though he does not remember being there before, several people on the site recognize him and call him by name, and it turns out he was part of the original staff but does not remember it.

So, maybe Locke is Jacob.  Maybe Jack is Jacob.  At this point, I don't think anything is out of the question.

Ah, you gotta love that spoilerish CTV...

Tonight's episode has been a long time coming and I know that I've talked to a few of you already about our shared anticipation/excitement about it. I said it before and I'll say it again here - I don't want to expect too much from the writers but I hope that they follow up last week with a good Locke episode or at least a decent explanation for why he's in a wheelchair... and seeing the previews, maybe another insight into Locke's character and penchant for disaster or for blowing things up.

I'm looking forward to the Ben-Locke scene because I always think back to that old episode with Ben saying, "I came here for you John, we're the good guys, blah blah blah." I don't really want to say that Locke is out for vengeance or feels wronged/duped by Ben, because I think it's more of, 'Locke has a personal agenda and an unexplainable connection to the island'. The last few episodes have made me re-examine my thoughts on the situation between John Locke and the Others because Locke is definitely one of the most intriguing characters on the show.

As far as the sub and the C4 goes, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. :)

Oh yeah, I agree with Thlay that S1 Hunter Locke is way better than S2 Button-pushing Locke... :)

Quick, where's that wonderful gal with the boyfriend that can read lips? And do we have anyone that speaks any other possible foreign language that we might need to translate later on the show?

Just kidding... :D

Have a good show everyone and let's hope that the writers give us another reason for Locke to say "Oops!" :D
