Ausiello: The answer to both of your questions is a resounding yeppers. Better prepare yourself though. My Lost mole says season 6 will showcase “a version of Claire we’ve never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version.” We’ll be in need of a Rousseau fix since the real version will be MIA. According to a Lost insider, the French Lady’s portrayer, Mira Furlan, turned down the show’s request to return for the final season due to a “prior overseas commitment.” Anyone know how you say “big bag-o-nuts” in français?
Sounds like a crazy claire who will have some knowledge of the Island.

Well, it just make sense that we would have the new crazy lady being Claire given the circumstances. Maybe it is a way of telling how and when Danielle finally did slip into her mental state of looney lady.
Frankly I think it was Claire's destiny and after she finds out that her child is gone that would send her over the edge.

Ah ha ha ha not that needy  I am just anxious for the season to start and this bit of fodder it good makes my brain start thinking of what may or may not happen. Lil makes a good point - and an interesting connection - both Rousseau and Claire lost their children albeit under different circumstances - could it be that with the nuclear holocaust restart that Claire gets left behind in the past of the island and now she has been living there for 23 years (have to use a number) and as such knows more about the island than most..... maybe we find out that Jack is Claire and Daniel's love child making Jack's step-sister his mother (how's that for a twist?) |
