I think like most, we were expecting something good, and we want it to be new and great....but it's so obvious it's(the show) trying so hard to be something it's not...and that is the frustration I feel with the show, so I did stop watching...hell-a-lame....

Well some episodes I really like, some i don't, I think it could do with some better writers for some of the more serious parts, but still overall it is better than most of what is on TV, so I am happy

i think maybe at first they wanted it so bad to get picked up they crammed alot of things in, and since it got picked up they have to dig themselves out of deep holes... which can be hard as a writer

I gotta say I liked that they just threw a monkey wrench into the flashforwards by making it impossible for at least one of them to play out as seen (trying to avoid spoilers for those that DVR'd).  I was getting tired of just watching the pieces falling in to place every week and having them remind us over and over (and over and over) what the characters had seen.  Now we have to wonder how this will affect everyone's feelings about their visions and the approach to the investigation itself.  OK, they got me again, I'll be tuning in for at least another week.   Undecided

Yeah, I was just kind of barely watching it in the background last night until the part you're talking about.  That was good tv!

I guess we should just save time and cut/paste all the 'alternate reality' posts from the Lost boards into this one!  Roll Eyes

Ok, so to those of you who have been watching, I noticed something didn't add up . .

So everyone's flash forwards supposedly all happen at the exact same time, right?  So  . .  what's his name was sitting on the couch half naked in his flash forward, and his son was there, getting a cookie from the cookie jar, and Penny's daughter comes down and tells him it's his house too.  If that is where Penny's daughter was during the flashforward, why is she having all kinds of nightmares and talking about D. Gibbons?  Did I miss something?

Good point Bueeyed. need to see the whole flashforwards though.

I thought they mixed it up nicely this week. Gave us and the charaters something to think about.

There are 24 hours in a day and we are only receiving snippets.  So the reality is that she could have heard or learned about D.Gibbons earlier in the day or later...they are not going to give us everything, but like many other shows I am sure the continuity is going to get a bit screwed up.

...but good point

I mean, I guess I was under the impression that she's like super traumatized over what she saw in her flash forward.  But if the kid saw her in his flashforward, that had to have been in hers too, right?  Oh well, it's most likely just like Lost . .  they only give you bits and pieces of info at a time.  Damn you, ABC.

OH yeah I understand what you are saying now, but did we see her "flash" I don't think we did.  Not sure if each person sees the same thing. Cause the wife saw the boys father, but the father did not see the woife
