Yes GJ, but I noticed it about three hours after I posted the original. I'm not the only one to post twice in a row ya know. Do I have to quote ya?
Also, the Driver's license says 1956, and the gun license says 1946, so discontinuity there.

So, just as a general note, if this last flashback of Locke's was after the kidney incident, but before Helen, then the next Locke flashback should presumably be the one where he gets paralyzed, no?? I'm thinking it has something to do with Hurley because of the box company. I'm assuming that Hurley, being the good guy he is, after finding out that he had this box company, gave his boss from the chicken place (Randy??) a job, and when he got the job decided to have some sort of party. This led to Hurley coming to the party, going out on the deck, and "causing" it to fall. Now picture this. Locke, after just having his little commune fall apart, decides to "give up" and get a normal job at this little schmucky box company, goes to a company gathering, and (still a little bummed) is standing on the deck looking out at the scenery when he has a moment of self realization and decides to start doing things for himself. At this pivotal moment in his life when he finally has figured out what would make him happy, the deck collapses and he is paralyzed from the waist down. Good theory, or crap??

Great scenario. We have been told that we will find out how he got paralized this season. Yours sounds very logical, so it will probably be something completely different.

You know, after I began to read your theory (before I was finished) I said, I bet Locke was on that platform... I was gonna post it, but I guess you already did! Nice theory, great minds think alive

alike even.
Jug-I think that because mine makes so much sense in the normality of the world, it has to be right, which makes it not make sense at all in the world of LOST. But thatnks for that though, as I said, I love validation. In fact...

Hurley's timeline is:
deck accident-> SRMHI-> Mr. Cluck's-> lotto-> box co-> trip to Austrailia, right?
I'm pretty sure the deck accident should the 1st event on his timeline. It definitely came before the box co.

I'm assuming that the Deck thing and the box company happened virtually Simultaneously. I'm not really sure when Hurley's events happend, the only things they covered for him was the Lottery and Dave. To be quite honest, I think we're all making the assumption that Locke's box company and Hurley's Box company are the same. I'm willing to bet they are, but we're not 100% sure they are. You know, I think you're right Leia, because the deck happened, he went to the asylum, realized Dave was fake, left, Mr. Clucks, yeah, yeah, You are right.
HEY JUG, once again I was wrong. I never even thought about this, but I had Hurley's timeline all backwards and what not. DAMNITDAMNITDAMNIT. Oh well, now I have to go back to those headaches with pictures and try to figure this one out.
Thanks Leia.

THis is correct. He owned the box company from the lottery. We do not know if the corelates to the time frame of when Locke worked at the box company.

This can not be correct because he did not own the box company until after he won the lottery and this happened after the hospital. Now he may have given his old boss randy a job at his box company and John may have been paralyzed from the deck accident, but it was not because of a party for the deck company.

I'm just curious: How do we know that he was instituted after he won the lottery?

he was instituted BEFORE he won the lottery. that's where he got the numbers from sam toomy (wasn't it sam?), then he used those numbers to play the lottery.
i'm right in saying this aren't i?
