Jacob's List

After that episode, I couldn't help but to think back at the remark, "He wasn't even on Jacob's list," referring to Jack. Are the lists that Jacob produces a list of people who he knows will not die and therefore Esau cannot take their form? Therefore his list would be Locke, Libby, Yemi...or is his "list" irrelevant?

Ya Ben never spoke to JAcob, and it was always or at least mostly Ben talking about sed list. maybe it was bens list of people that may be a threat to be a candidate for leader? like Goodwin said... they took, or attemted to take the strongest and most a threat ...

See I even interpreted that different, I thought he meant he took the strongest to convert them firts, like stewerdess lady, she was converted sorta....but I dunno...
But yeah that was my first thought, when Ben said he never talked to Jacob, so his list was all a lie or beard-O....or Ben is lying again...

I don't know if it the strongest or threat.  They got rid of Walt cause he was a threat.  Well, another  for the mysteries of Lost will this and other questions never be answered?

Do we know if Jacob really created the lists or was it Richard? Did Richard edit the lists?

Ben never saw Jacob and we really don't know what Richard is really up to. Is he just Jacob's puppet? We don't know the relationship between Jacob and Richard yet. Richard may owe Jacob for the long life, or he may resent him.

If Jacob did create the lists, he would have never put his secret weapons (Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Jin/Sun, Sayid, Hugo) on it.

Jack is the only one that can stand up to Locke. Whether you hate him or love him, the Jack and Locke conflict is key to Lost.
I know, I'm a Jack fanboy, I'll go back in the shadows and hide.

Funny I think this has been asked before and I really do not think that Jacob gave Ben any lists.  Perhaps Richard but not Ben.

Jack and Locke are like Jacob and MN2 if you think about it and perhaps that is what their destiny is to take over those roles.

Something to think about.
