Jacob in his last breath says "they are coming"...do you think this is a throw back to the first shot of Jacob on the beach when they look at the sailing ship and talk about the natural progression of visitors?

I agree Asmo. The 815ers were hand picked by Jacob as we saw. He had this planned out and they are his "army" so to speak.

When Jacob said they are coming I thought he was referring to that organized group from the second flight who dumped out Locke's body. They have to be connected to the Black Rock, so Jacob knows something about them.

What if Jacob did the same thing to Ilana that he did to Richard? What if they were both from the Black Rock and one was meant to stay on the island (Richard) and one was meant to stay off the island (Ilana) until he needed them both?

But why did she call him "Ricardus" or sumth like that? I guess Jacob could have told her that Richard (or Ricardus) would be the one to help her complete the favor he asked of her. |
