I gave it a seven. Huge negatives: Ghost Locke is the evil guy. Locke is really dead. Instead of Ben stabbing Locke, he does what Locke said. Juliet's death is nowhere in the same league as Charlie's death. We see the Blackrock arrive, but it was kind of a let down. Pluses: Sawyer beats up Jack. We find out what lies in the shadow of the statue... something in Latin. We saw Jack's eye. Bernard and Rose were living a nice life with Vincent.

Epic is the word. The loop was found - Jacob was killed. But the loop to save him, Locke, all of them has been opened - Juliet saved them. Faraday was right - they changed it all. I am practically speechless.

10. Anyone who votes otherwise is overly critical, in my opinion.
The only downside was Rose and Bernard have turned into hippies. It's 1977. The hippies were 10 years ago, people.

I gave it a 9. Anyone who votes 10 is easily pleased in my opinion. j/k I just had to contradict JB's character judgment. You know. I had to just for tradition.
That was a great episode. It's amazing how the writers weave the answers into the episodes. This episode was fantastic in that regard. I am so glad that they decided on a number of seasons to finish the show. I think that the time limit helped maintain the story and creative integrity of the show. I love that the episode ended with the bomb explosion, but a part of me hates it, as well. Because of that, truly anything is possible on Lost. There can be so many theories but the destiny truly lies with the writers.
I love this show, but I hate it so much because it teases me. But I like how there is so much continuity. It's so awesome that Lost can do shout outs to itself in these later episodes. Like when Sun finds Charlie's ring, etc. Way to follow-up, writers. Nice job.

I gave it a 9.
Pluses Opening scene, The losties were recruited and brought to the island by Jacob. illana turned out to be interesting. Locke is not really Locke was awesome. Never saw that surprise coming. Kate looked great in the tight t shirt and jeans. Bernard and Rose story was great. It made perfect sense to me and they appeared the most sane out of all of them
Negatives. THe wishy washyness of the Losties. Juliet changed her mind on blowing up a hydrogen bomb because of a look Sawyer gave Kate. I just thought we were past the kate/sawyer/juliet stuff. Found some of it a little slow.

Outstanding episode. I finally got to watch it Saturday afternoon. Jacob and Essau continually replaying the game reminded me of the ending of Men in Black, with the Earth just being a marble in the alien game of life. Or was that just TPTB toying with us again?
Yes, there were some sour points. I agree with Juggy that Juliet changing her mind because of the way Sawyer looked at Kate is an idiotic reason. But boy, I kept trying to guess what was in the box but never guessed Locke. Some of the strings of posts on the front page are really excellent in theorizing how this changes everything we think we've seen up to this point. Only Lost can change everything on a dime and get away with it. In fact it keeps bringing us back for more.
A definitive 10.

Oh, dear. I voted 7 because I don't want Lost to be a game. And I didn't like the introduction of two supernatural beings playing with our Losties. I'm really happy to see Rose, Bernard and Vincent again. I liked the finale better the second time I watched it, but it's still a 7 in my book just because I'm not left with the feeling that I just can't wait for the new season to begin. I can wait.
