I was wondering. We've yet to see Ben be healed. We are yet to see "The Incident". There's a posibility that these are related. Also at this point, Richard is off to take Ben to whom ever or what ever may fix him. Dont know about everyone else, but I'm guessing its Jacob. I have two trails of thought for this. 1. What ever jacob does, infulences the incident. 2. If it is something that Dhama do and co-insides with what Jacob does, if this is what causes Jacob to disapear and start jumping through time on the island (if that is what he is doing). This could be why Ben feels so responsible to help "The Island". Maybe this is when the island has it's time skipping issues, meaning no kids, time distortions and so forth. When we see Horris building Jacobs cabin, he has a nose bleed, much like the one the Losties had when jumping through the flashes. Sorry if this is repeating anything that other people have posted, and its not really in the right episode forum, but it wont get seen if i dont put it here I'm bound to have missed or not thought of anything, so come on you crazy kids, either start ripping it to sheds (thats your cue Mr. Bingo) or jump on board! 2 Pence... In....

The quote by Mrs. A. is true, and in no way makes BlackString an egomaniac by having it in his signature. He is hot. You all know it.

What do you mean? I thought when we saw Ben healed in "Dead is Dead". By the time Widmore rides up on his horse, Ben is resting in a tent, coherent, and bandaged.

The guy masquerading as Locke? I'm officially calling him Bocaj. I don't care if anyone else is on board. Just know that when I use the name Bocaj, I'm speaking of the Anti-Jacob. Oh...I may call him that too. It's official, in my book he is Bocaj and/or AJ. You've been warned

Not necessarily...you could be on to something. Maybe the incident occurs because Ben isn't returned to camp Dharma in a timely fashion then the fit hits the shan.

hunh? You mean after Sayid shot him right? Then Richard took him in to the Temple? That took place in "He's Our You".
Then, in "Dead is Dead" we see Widmore ride into Village Others and confront Richard about him taking Ben into the Temple. Shortly afterwards, Widmore walks into the tent where Richard has Ben resting and introduces himself to Ben.

It certainly good still be half true. Even though we see that young Ben's death has been prevented by being taken to Jacob or whatever, we don't know that the healing or "converting" that Richard talked about is actually complete. He may have more visits to the temple lined up that we have yet to see, and those could end up causing the incident. And it may be that the incident is a bad thing in Dahrma's view, but maybe not the others. Maybe the "incident" is a good thing for the others. I wouldn't be surprised at all if something like that ends up being the case.

Right, we never saw Ben being healed. We saw Richard take him to the temple, go inside...cut to: Ben lying in the Renaissance Fair tent. We totally missed the actual healing, what happened to him for him to lose his innocence. As for the Incident, the Swan Orientation video suggests that it has to do with the electromagnetic energy and using the computer to communicate with other stations. Kelvin says that the Incident was due to a leak in the electromagnetic ...stuff...

But I think he thought that maybe Ben was never healed- thus causing the incident. I don't believe he meant we've never seen the actual healing.

This was my theory on The Incident, from a month ago: http://lost.cubit.net/forum/index.php?topic=9095.msg519029;topicseen#msg519029I think that The Incident may be something to do with cosmic time-travelling feedback. I think it'll be caused by Faraday's desire to save Charlotte and the DHARMA pod inside the still-under-construction Orchid. Incidentally, are there two Faraday's on The Island now? Didn't Sawyer say that he was inside The Looking Glass Station, a couple of episodes back? Are we to presume hew left via the sub at some point?

The doctor they were referring to that was in the looking glass was some kind of medical doctor that should have been working on the injured young Ben instead of Juliet - Not Faraday. I think that Daniel left on the sub back in 1974 and has come back just now.

Out of curiosity, do we know exactly when Jacob became the "invisible" Jacob in the cabin? I've been assuming that Jacob has always been "invisible" during all of these time flashes/time skips. But is it possible that Jacob was actually walking around and fully alive and human, say, back in 1954 and even in 1977?

I don't think that it's been confirmed either way. But I like the thought that he is very much alive and walking around in 1954 or 1977.
