Heroes references to Lost
« on: April 20, 2009, 11:09:32 PM »
Hi all -
Maybe I'm just too wrapped up in Lost, but watching Heroes tonight I saw three references

The first one was at the very start and I've forgotten the detail.
Second was Sylar saying "dead is dead"
Third was Hiro having a disabling headache and nosebleed.

I'm waiting for Smokey to show up - Now that would be a power!

Sylar: "Dead is dead."
I caught that too!  As soon as he said it I was thinking "oh here we go..." Maybe Hiro wil flash back in time, to the Island and bring everyone to present day Odessa, Texas where the Oceanic survivors and HEROES will team up to once again "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World."  ;)

WE have a thread about this in Some Like it HOth.  I caught the last two references, but possibly not the first, since you didn't specify.

Wait, did you mean when Sylar is "Tallking to his [dea] mother" aboput how he feels "lost" and as if he is in a strange land where he doesn't understand anything?

I don't know how to merge threads, but theere is another thread about this, too.  Threre were also a few other LOST references.  sylar talked to his (dead) mother about how he has always felt lost, as though he os the only person in a place who doesn't fit in.  Also, they had some mouth bleeding and headaches going on.

I don't know how to merge threads

Only the mods have the power of The MERGE!!! Muwhahahaha!! Behold as I wield this power!

ahem... well, um, ok, so it wasn't really that exciting. Anyhoo... whenever you see duplicate threads just send a mod a PM with the links to both threads. You could also "report to moderator" with the little button, but then report the other one as well or we'll have to search around to see which ones you think should be merged.
