BR - "children" in general are important and I have been thinking about this, you know while doing dishes, redundant chores, on the eliptical...you know what I mean.
I keep being brought back to our characters as children, in particular Jack, Sayid, Hurley, Kate, Sawyer, John, Miles, Charlotte, Charlie, Sun, Juliette, Mr. Eko, Ben
-can't recall if Jin or Claire were referred to as younger, not teenager,
But we were told they were better off with "us" being the others.
So it makes me wonder if in fact that the reason they are better is because like Richard said once he brought Ben into the temple as a young boy, he would loose his innocence.
I know the show makes reference to many things biblical, but the direction is not the second coming of Christ, but innocenct are the children. They have no "sin" so to speak, so if in fact is when we meet the children, not when Jacob meets them is that when they lost their innocence? Is that their turning point.
Bear with me as my thoughts are flowing freely, but if the children are taken from the Losties so they are no longer compromised by what happens in a survival situation. Greed, hoarding and so on. Are they taught a certain way of life wtih the others.
If you think about this this season has to focus on the others and why they are who they are and what is their purpose on this earth. Are they temporal police to makes sure certain things happen?
sorry you had sparked a flame of thought.
