Sorry I did skip over some stuff and tried to read all the way back but could we look at what lies int he shadow of the statue as (who lies) as in not telling the truth?

I think it was suggested before Lil. And the answer of course being Ben hehe. He lies everywhere. But what makes me think they are not talking about a person is the fact that they say what lies in the shadow of the statue.

I was thinking of season 2 when Locke and Ben in the hadge were talking about Hemmingway and Dostoevski
and later Ben made Locke really angry by asking him if he was the genious or if he was the one standing in the shadow of
the genious.

Technically, if you live under the statue, you are always in the shadow of it. So (in my opinion) it HAS to be Jacob. |
