It is stranger still that they are dropping food in there. And if the ARMY gave up, why couldn't Dharma? But yes, it is very strange.

Hmm, Army is definitely connected to Dharma, because there are US Army intel photos in the Lamppost station. It seems as if Dharma is a sub-project of the US Government.

I don't get why DI is a connected to the US Army based on old photo's @ Hawkin's Lamp Post?

I don't think they're with Ben or Widmore.

I suspect that Dharma or what's left of the people behind it, will want to get back to the island.
What lies in the shadow of the statue and what did one snowman say to the other snowman are both a way to identify people.
Obviously the shadow one sounds cooler.

This code phrase is driving me crazy...

When the question came up I again, I was like "They're working for Widmore? No? Okay ... damn it."

Why do they have to keep on introducing more new groups of antagonists this late in the season?  I smell a plot twist with very little set-up ...

I son't think the army is connected to Dharma
i think the army has a photo of the island because the island is where the army was conducting its atomic bomb tests;
I think mrs. hawking just happens to have the photo, maye she or one of her sources found it

And Kelvin... yeah, you're right.

This is a real good point. I knew since the Jughead incident the government wouldn't give up interest in the Island. Why would the government lose a nuclear bomb & just wipe their hands of it?

After the Purge Kelvin was perhaps sent in to find out what happened, Black Ops style. He discovered what was left of DI (the Swan) but then couldn't leave or even communicate.

While these new folk are obviously too young to be part of the original DI, I'm thinking they may be US operatives being sent in to again find out what's going on...
