Remember when people used to talk about Lost on these forums? And we didn't have to waste our time by wading through pages and pages of personal messages and inside jokes to find any meaningful and *gasp* inspiring content? Sorry to rain on your parade, but that's why God created the Community Lounge.

A bit harsh, but it needed to be said.

How do you define a "Newbie"? Someone who registered for these boards three months ago? Or someone who has been an active member for over three years? Please don't point fingers. All I was asking for was an intelligent discussion in the appropriate forum.

We were discussing how hilarious it was to see an unarmed man take buckshot to the chest. Come on, man, ease up.

I had been in the middle of modifying my post when I got distracted doing something else.  What I was going to add to it was--The topic has been exhausted...it wasn't a theory topic...it was a simple question: do you care?  If you do...say you do....if you don't...say you don't.  If the author of the topic cares that we've all strayed from the original question, it is their job to say something.

I consider an 'active member' someone who contributes to a forum...not someone who has lurked for over three years to post less than 100 comments (and out of those, I wonder how many were just to boss other people around....)

Hey y'all, let's just breathe for a minute...

If it bothers you that a thread goes off topic, maybe you should have jumped in earlier? By not trying to course-correct it (lol), aren't you just as guilty as letting it wander as everyone else? You could have just said, "Hey guys, I'm gonna get back on topic here and say, I was looking forward to the development of Cesar's character"...(or however you feel about it)...instead of trying to make other people feel bad about not discussing something that you don't even seem that interested in either.

HM, don't get baited, either, lol! I know you can rise above, I have faith.
