Merge....

So do we all think Ilana is a Widmore plant? Why would she work for a man like that? Did the crate come on the plane or from the hydra? What's in the damned crate? A really big fork? A blow dryer Wink

I'm leaning toward Widmore plant.  Not sure why she'd work for him, but then, he has had all kinds of people working for him.  Man's got money and power.

As far as what's in the crate...I'm guessing....Twinkies.

The guns look like Dharma guns not Widmore/Keamy guns. Here's a screencap of the crate and the guns....

LOL! KoKo, where you been? I've missed you and your awesome sense of humor! Ilana is protecting her stash of Twinkies. Hurley might have another chance at love after all!  Kiss

What the heck is in that crate? And where did it come from?  Could it be from the plane?  If Iliana is a Widmore plant (mentioned in another posting) then perhaps this cargo was arranged by Widmore too.
I think Charles Widmore is in the crate. He could have found out about 316 and had a self contained life support unit put in the crate to keep him alive.

But, why?  Why hide?  And, hide from who?  The island/Jacob?  If so, how would being in a crate hide him more than the airplane itself?  Also, I don't think Charles' arrogance would allow him to stoop to hiding.

I don't know Shakey, he has been trying to get back to the island for 20 years. Arrogant or not I think he is desperate and would do anything to get back to the island and reclaim is position.

LOL  I was going to say something lame like "hair products."  There's no way her hair will stay frizz-free on Craphole Island. Roll Eyes

Alrighty...now that that's out of my system...

I think she is in the same group as the dart shooters & the man that Sayid killed outside SRMHI- Widmore's goons.  Obviously Widmore hasn't been able to return to the Island HIMSELF, but he still thinks there's work to be done there.
