Kate told Cassidy, it appears very soon after they were back.

Claire's Mom was three years later, which is still two people.  But again the point is she didn't seem to be shocked or care.  So telling Carole Littleton was like telling Ben or any other of the O4, Aaron doesn't remember I am sure.

I said in another thread this was well orchestrated Kate, Claire's Mom, Dan the lawyer Ben.

But was scoffed out Roll Eyes

There is something odd about Claire's mom, her lack of reaction or didn't want to run and see her grandchild, that her daughter was alive.

Three years later she is getting settlement.  No something is wrong!  Aaron might just show up on the island.

I agree about it being rather odd that Claire's mom didn't immediately go down to see Aaron, or at least be waiting outside the hotel room door as Kate said her goodbye to him. It was also unsettling to imagine that small child sleeping all alone in that room...I imagined him waking up and being alone, crying for his "mommy", and nobody being there... Sad...And he's never met his grandmother, so even if Claire's mom DID later go into the room with him, just imagine Aaron waking up and seeing a strange woman sitting nearby! lol...Good lord, that would scare any kid half to death.

I don't think the writers thought that scene through well enough.

I was thinking that too. Aaron never saw his grandmother, Kate could at least introduce her and make him feel comfortable with her.
The writers don't know anything about children. I had some discussions last year too about the whole Aaronstory, left alone in the woods, everybody carrying him from woods to beach to freighter to Penny's boat, without food for days.

Don't get me started! I completely agree with you! It just made me SICK to think no one had Claire or baby in the hatch b/c a beach in the raw wild in a basket is just SO much more appropriate  Roll Eyes I was just livid, b/c Claire's excuse in the epi was something like the hatch's beeping bothered Aaron or something. LAME-O, and quite ridiculous.

And yeah Aaron waking up to a complete stranger, almost even more LAME.
