I was trying to do math in my head...if Kate leaves Los Angeles traveling 70 mph east to Albuquerque, she will arrive...10 hours after she begins.  I agree that Cassidy is at least in California, if not in LA. |

She had to be in California she can't leave. Though how she got on the plane with a passport is beyond me. First thing that would bring a red light! Continuity on this show has issues

I thought it strange that Cassidy didn't ask more about the island, but then we were only shown parts of their conversations and we don't know how much Kate told her. They probably didn't want to show another version of Hurley explaining it all to his Mum with Kate and Cassidy, but I did find it odd that Cassidy was so accepting of what must have been a strange tale (even a cut down version, without smoke monsters)! |

I am one of the people that thinks Kate and Cassidy became friends after the initial meeting, so I don't see why they wouldn't talk about that stuff. Especially since Kate already told her the story about the fake crash and everything. |
