LOL, it's late and I'm getting some pretty twisted ideas & theories. Somebody mentioned how it looked like Ben's Dad & Kate is starting to hit it off. I started thinking it would be pretty funny if they "got it on" and Kate got pregnant. Little Ben would probably be pissed his half brother would probably get more love than he did. But then I started thinking....if that did happen, who would Ben's Dad & Kate's kid grow up to be? Then I thought, did we ever find out who's the parents of Karl were? Karl, Alex's Boyfriend who got shot up along with Roussell. LOL....wouldn't it be funny if Karl was Ben's Dad & Kate's kid. In effect Ben's half brother would be dating his adopted daughter! Maybe that's why Ben was always against it.  |

Kate felt sympathy for Ben and Roger, because of her giving up Aaron. Roger wanted to be a good father but wasn't. Kate wanted to be a good mother, but felt she wasn't. Simple as that. I'd hate for Roger and Kate to "get caught in a net".  |

If Kate needs to get it one with somebody, why Roger? I'm a guy, so maybe not the right judge, but why not Sayid, Miles, or even Hurley?Why not give Hurley some love? Where you gonna find someone that would love you unconditionally on this island?

Funny Napoleon Dynamite references....but go figure, Uncle Rico did want to time travel back to 84, remember??? But Blitz, you were not alone when thinking something kinda weird was going on between Kate and Roger. Roger seemed like he was interested in Kate when he first saw her. I mean, why wouldn't he? But as razzle-dazzle said, I think Kate was feeling sympathy for him.

Rogate, LOL! I remember hearing somewhere that people subconsciously go after people who remind them of their parents. Sons would go after women who looked like their moms, daughters would go for men that reminded them of their fathers. Kate's real father (Wayne I think his name was....the guy Kate blew up in a house explosion) was kind of a Roger type. Wayne gets all drunk and goes home, and Kate has to help him get to bed. Roger gets all drunk and Young Ben has to help him get to bed. Maybe Roger reminds Kate of Wayne subconsciously. |
