That seemed kind of important - helps establish time line and control structure if nothing else!

Sounds like this confirms Charles' statement to Locke that he was the Others' leader. And it sounds like Ellie (Ms. Hawking!?) was his co-leader or right-hand girl, or whatever.

I don't get Alpert. When he was with Ben he seemed to lean a bit towards John Locke. Then when he was with Widmore, he did not seem to like him. It looks to me like he doesn't answer to anyone, but, at the same time, he's not the quote-in-quote leader of the group either. He's just a damn trouble maker when you get down to it.

If Faraday's mum = Ms. Hawking and dad = Widmore and Penny's dad = Widmore that would make Daniel and Penny half siblings unless you believe that Widmore is actually Penny and Desmond's son Charlie from the future time traveling in the past in which case Faraday would be Penny's grandson. Got it?

I don't think we know yet one way or the other, but certainly a possibility. Let's say they are and, obviously, they're still on the island in 1977. Faraday certainly appears to be older than 30 in 2007 so that would mean he was likely conceived and born on the island. Who's the baby daddy? |
