Haven't we been promised that the $3.2mil will be answered this season?.....or is that just wishful hoping on my part?
I remember hearing that too. It will be answered for sure.

How does Miles know that Ben turned the Wheel?
locke might have told him. he was there when ben left He was in the Orchid station while Ben went into the FDW chamber. Has to be something explained by Farraday. I think it was just Ben, Hurley, and Locke there It wasn't a big deal I just thought it was funny,I guess dead people told him. I was thinking that Hurley, who can be pretty quick, would had said "dude how did you know that"? Miles has a history now with Ben I just thought it was intresting Well, it's not a "big" deal, but it is important. But as far as Ben turning the wheel. Locke, Hurley, and Ben went to the Orchid. Then Jack showed up to take Hurley back to the CHOPPA(!!!!). Ben went and talked to Keamy at gunpoint, and then Locke went to try and find the elevator down to the real Orchid station, and after talking to Jack, Jack and Hurley split. Ben then shows up, and Locke and Ben go down to the Orchid station. Ben blows the whole in the wall, crawls through the tunnel to the FDW, and Locke is in the Orchid station. So technically, at that point, the only person who knew Ben turned the wheel, was Ben. I left out the part about Keamy coming down to the Orchid because he was killed sorta quickly, so it's like he wasn't really there. Here is the most logical explanation of how Miles knows so much: Miles was original born in the year 2035 on the planet Mars. The island moves to that planet, where he and his family crash land. His family dies and the island gives him the ability to talk to his dead family as a concession. He tries to leave, but in doing so he ends up in 2010 on the planet earth, where he precedes to order Lost Season 1-5 on bluray. He learns everything about the characters and island that he can. He attempts to get back to the island, but fails and instead ends up in 2004. There he meets Mr. Abandon who says he can help him back to the island. He, of course, keeps all of his secrets to himself, because that's what island lovers do... And that is the most logical solution This is totally ludicrous. Season 1 and 2 are not available on bluray. I thought that too, but they are, look on Amazon. So I guess this theory is Bulletproof. LOL The whole thing with Miles knowing about Ben being captured and tortured (back in season 2), he doesn't. When Miles and Hurley are talking, Hurley is the one who brings that up. Miles' reaction is rather low key considering that he just got the little nugget of knowledge about Sayid torturing Ben dropped on him, but it seemed to me that he was just trying to process the fact that Ben and Sayid met in 2004, and Ben didn't remember him.

Yes, he just was surprised that he didn't think about the fact that Ben didn't remember all of them, including Miles himself in 2004.

The 3.2 million $ question will be answered, probably in the Miles centric episode. Not sure what episode that will be, but I can't wait. From the beginning of S4 I have waited for the story of Miles.
I liked the Miles and Hurley conversation and I loved the episode. Best epi since LeFleur. You know why? Because they talked this time. Kate told the truth to Cassidy and Claire's mom, time travel is debated, Jacks says why he won't do surgery, Kate and Sawyer talk about his daughter, Roger talks to our losties, Richard reveals an important part of the story. There was a lot of talk and it all made sense.
Damon and Carlton wrote this episode, that's why it was so good. I wish they would write all episodes. They can do character-driven episodes with enough action and reveals to make them work.

My guess is Miles was born on the island, taken to the temple by his father Chang Hallewick where he lost his innocence and received the ability to speak with the dead. when he comes back to the island, it triggers other abilities as well. He is a true son of the island. Look out for him in the long run.

They poked fun at themselves and how stupid and confusing it could be. They do a great job connecting to the audience. So our frustrations of what they brought us through are validated. Richard opens the stone door to the story...btw I got to thinking about his pausing etc and pushing that stone door open, I think he was trying to show how heavy it was to open and came across as WTH am I doing.

How does Miles know that Ben turned the Wheel?
Okay, here's a stretch: Christian knows that Ben turned the wheel. Christian can seemingly show up in whatever time he wants to (he appears to Locke when the FDW cave is closed, when the statue appears to Sawyer et al). Miles talks to dead people. It's possible Miles contacted the dead and found out why the island jumped. Crackpot, I know. why? that's actually a pretty plausible explanation. don't know how people come up with such good ideas, with so much going on. Agreed. In fact, I'm going to say you're right, maybe not exactly but that it's going to have something to do with his commune with the dead. And since it's hard to keep track of who's dead, really dead, sort of dead, deadlike but not quite dead and in the land of the living on this show, it might be Miles' time to shine. I argee. The real question is why didn't Hurley say "Dude, how'd ya know that?" Miles: "I read it on Sledgeweb"
