Did Ben say "I hate him" or " I hate it here"?

Cause I swear I heard "I hate Him"

You're an idiot!! It doesnt work like that you can't change anything. Your maniac Iraqi buddy shot Linus that is what always happened it's just, we never experienced how it all turns out.

What's confusing about that??

I think he said "I hate queers". Young Ben is a homophobe.

I just watch the episodes of the losties in dharmatime as a flashback of Ben's childhood.
As something that happened like all the other flasbacks happened.
Nobody ever questioned if Kate really murdered her dad or if she was changing history by doing that and what if she didn't kill him.

If things can be changed than I don't see why they don't take the sub and do what they have to do off-island,
instead of losing time changing things on the island where they cannot tell the truth and move safely.
Just take the sub, go to mr. Hanso or de Groot, tell them about the purge, warn them for Linus. Go to Christian, Kate's mother, Sawyer's mother, warn them. So that in the future they don't have to take that plane.

I think that they are there because things can't be changed and they have to do what happened and Abbadon, Hawking, Desmond, Christian, Charlie, Locke helped them to be in the right place in the right time.

It's too easy to kill major characters that we started to like for four years and than tell in the end that nobody died, because everything was changed and everybody now had a happy childhood and life in the past, no problems with daddy's, because everything was changed.
That's not redemption. I really wouldn't like that.

but I don't like the thought that  they are going through all this and nothing can be changed. What is the point in the show , or in the charactors like Ben trying to persuade them to do or not do stuff and make sure everyone is where they should be. If you can't change anything and what happened happened then no one would need to make sure of anything!!!  Undecided

Okay, so maybe we'll only bring up Des/Richard in the community lounge, where there aren't so many theories and we can be silly all we want. ??
