Definitely Ann Arbor.

Kind of like if you can't make up your mind, we'll have to call in the big guns!

Ann Arbor.  University of Michigan.  Go Big Blue.  The DeGroots founders of Dharma.  No question.

Yeah.
I would have loved for Sawyer to say something like, I've always been a Buckeye fan myself. or some such.

Found this cute little article from Michigan Business Innovation by a Nathan Bomey

"On last night's "Lost" on ABC, Dharma Initiative underling Stuart Radzinsky threatened to "call Ann Arbor" on his renegade Dharma mates. "Lost" experts may recall that in Season 2, it was revealed that two U-M doctoral students begat the Dharma Initiative.

The "Lost" references to Ann Arbor work because you get the feeling that a Dharma-like project could, say, get lost in the shuffle in the midst of U-M's nearly $1 billion annual real-life research budget.

Could U-M President Mary Sue Coleman be secretly steering the Dharma Initiative, perhaps remotely from the ex-Pfizer campus the university is about to acquire?

OK, I'm being facetious. But it's fair to say that U-M's presence in the show's plotline is indicative of the university's international stature as an innovative research leader.

Let's just hope they're not funding Ben."

Hmmmm...something is coming together for me.  Big football at UM means big research money.  Big research money funds Dharma.  The island can be explained by the University of Michigan Wolverines football team.  Whoa.

Now where's Scott to rag on Big Blue?  :D

Oh, believe me.  I was raised in steel country in Ohio.  I am, will always be, will be planted in the ground as a Buckeye.  It's a pity that I now live in Michigan and my son likes Big Blue.  It's like the McCoys and Hatfields!
