ahh but the universe would course correct if you tried to die before you were supposed to. So thy couldnt die in the past which is why folk are aging. It's just not their time to die yet. So R&B are alive and kicking probably hunkering down with Guyliner, Cindy and the kids at the temple in 2007/8

Ok now I'm confused then... what about Charlotte? What time were they in when she died? Was it the time when the well was there? If so, wouldn't she have been alive off the island somewhere (or possibly on the island as a little girl)?

It seems to me that if you die in the past (which is your present) you stay dead.  You just don't exist after you flashed back.

Me too and it's another plus for the theory that Rose and Bernard could be Adam and Eve!  Not sure how the stones fit in though?  Maybe Jack had seen Rose with them before and that's why he pocketed them?  Was he going to ask her about them and did he?  If they did belong to Rose and Bernard and are put into Jack's pocket does that mean there would be 2 sets of stones in 2004 at one stage?!  It's like the compass, I hate trying to work out these things!  I love it too though!  ;D

I know for a fact that so many of you are rose and bernard fans i know i am but right now i think we need to accept their probably dead, if not dead then the others would have got them at the creek and they wouldve taken them to their base where miles, charlotte or faraday wouldve seen them. :(

lol...sorry! But tptb aren't stupid, and they know we're not stupid. When they know that we have entire threads devoted to, like, what brand wallpaper a character has in his house, they can't possibly believe that we'd just forget about two characters who have had their own flashbacks. Their story will be wrapped up. They may be dead, but we will have resolution, I promise!
