I was so excited to find out that Juliet really was telling the truth about that back ages ago!
Do you think we can trust Juliet yet? Wink

Oh, quit jerking my chain.   Grin

Nah, I still don't trust her.  One little truth doth not an honest person make necessarily... (look at Ben!  He tells the truth... sometimes!   Smiley  I don't trust him yet, either!)

I think I just really don't like that flat level stare combined with the little smirk...

That's just the actress. I'd rather go by her truthful comments (more than just one - think about Latin, etc) than by appearances.

Hmmmm... might be.  But I've seen that actress in a few other movies, and I trusted her in them.  The one I remember off the top of my head is the mom in Frequency.  Of course, there was really no reason to mistrust her there.  (And by the way, I had no trouble at all following the time-shifting stuff in that movie, as opposed to Lost...  why is that?  Aarrrrghh.)

I think it's that the flat stare she gives people so often... it just lasts one or two beats too long.  It feels as if she's weighing what to say, or deciding how much the other person really knows.  Oh, I don't know... it's probably just me being weird.  Did she ever act in soaps?  You know how soap actors always do that big dramatic pause before it goes to commercial?  Maybe it's that.

No, Madam P, I'm totally with you on that one. The blinking, the smirk...she does it on purpose. When she's being "old-school" Juliet, she has different hand gestures and smiles more (like when interacting with Rachael, or more recently with post-labor Amy). When she has something to hide, she goes into bad-a$$ Juliet and keeps her secrets. She gathers information to make decisions herself, but doesn't tell everyone what she knows so everyone could have a hand at trying to figure things out.

Remember what she tells Sayid, "If I told you everything I know, you'd kill me." She's keeping information. And that isn't being trustworthy. At least, not to our Losties.

It must be a woman's intuition kind of thing, then, Mrs. Alpert, if you notice it too.  So JB, it's not your fault -- you couldn't be expected to pick up on it.   Wink  (Nice pic of Claire, by the way, and I'm even a girl.   Smiley)

I still think she's trustworthy. I think you're all jealous that she gets Sawyer, and that's the only reason you don't trust her Cheesy

Nah, everybody else can fight over Sawyer. And Jack. That's not the reason I don't trust her. Now, if she started to get all up in Richard's Kool-Aid, we might have a problem. But I wouldn't distrust her, I'd just want to fight her.  Embarrassed
