I'm gonna go with a nine. It was very interesting, but it didn't keep me on the edge of my seat like the first few episodes.

I think we all saw it coming when Sun whacked Ben with the Oar, but that was one of my favorite moments of this season.
Ghost Dad's appearance after the typical Smokie moving the trees effect just added to the theories that Christian is just Smokie using the dead body of people on the island.
I find it funny that Sawyer is now Jack and Jack has hints of Locke. I bet Jack won't sit still and obey Sawyer's Live together, die alone attitude.

I don't understand why Sawyer isn't more concerned about the purge. He didn't even care when Hugo told him about the Dharma body pit.

I gave it an 8. When we get back to where Locke saw Ben after Sun's smack down, I'm sure I'll be handing out 10s. I can't wait to see Ben's reaction to seeing Locke alive and the realization that Sun got the better of him.

I gave it a 6.  Rather disappointing after last week's hiatus, and I was hoping for something more, I guess.  I thought the open was incredible, with the landing of the plane..."Is that a runway?"  LOL
I guess as some have said, it's kind of a "set-up" type of week, to get us into more meat of the season, I hope!

solid episode, with some great lines and great moments...

Priceless moments:
-Jack talking with dr. chang, being told he is going to be a workman because of his aptitude test.
-Julliet handing back the baby in disgust after finding out its Ethan.
-Sawyer trying to explain to hurley that theyre in 1977...
- meeting Radzinsky, finding out he designed the swan...

many more

I rated it tips based on this:  when the logo and the bad robot came up, I thought only about fifteen minutes had passed since it started!  I was thinking, "Whoa, it can't be over already!"

6 for me. Not too exciting but the best part was getting to see a different side of Sawyer.

Yeah, but we saw this same part of Sawyer last week. The only thing even remotely different is how Sawyer is now in control of Jack, which changes dynamics and makes us Jack-haters happy. Wink

i give it a 7.  sort of meh.  it left me wanting so much MORE from the episode.  i still loved it, it's still lost, but the episode just left me, well, it just left me.  i haven't been on this site since the episode aired, and, quite frankly, there just isn't much about it i want to discuss.  nothing earth shattering.

anyway.  sorry to be a party pooper.

I agree... I couldn't think of anything to discuss after the episode aired, so I just left.

Because it was better than last week's and I gave that an 8. It's still better than 90% of the shows on TV.

^That's how I rate... which shows the episode was better than.

I agree with LB & JB. There just...isn't anything to talk about this week.

Ethan's the baby. The most interesting thing about that is it would make Ethan 27 in 2004 when he swiped Claire, and he looked way older than that.

Jack, Kate, and Hurley seem to have gotten into the DI no problem. So....what?

Sayid is captured. Ben brings him a sangwich. That was pretty cool.

The thing that really got my attention was Christian taking Sun and Frank into the run-down DI building, seeing what appears to be Smokey coming in through the door, and seeing what appears to be a blonde woman hiding in the shadows behind Sun. I felt like I was watching Ghost Hunters; I rewatched that scene once and had chills for a long time after.

Other than that...things are moving along. I suspected it would be a set-up episode. But I do wish there were a bit more action.

started off great with the crash, and the emotional reunion of jack, kate and hurley with sawyer.  and it was kind of cool how sawyer handled the situation.  but it kind of stalled about half-way through.

the sayid, jin, radzinski stuff was o.k., but nothing stellar.

and i don't know what's happened to sun, but she's become the most boring, uninteresting character on the show.  jin's become pretty great (if a bit underutilized), but sun has fallen completely flat.

i think everyone's right-- this is a bit of a set-up for the rest of the season.  but haven't we had a few of those now?

anyway, the crash was awesome, and frank's the man.

p.s.  i gave it a 7.
