Castle

Castle premiered tonight on abc.  Did anyone catch it?  I really love the characters!  They do drama with a nice balance of comedy.  Shout out to Patterson and his Cross character!  That was awesome :D  Can't wait to see more :)

I thought the show was ok, but the lead actress was horrible IMO.  She reminded me of Data from TNG.
I guess we'll just have to adjust

Who's data?  Star Trek?  Well, I liked it.  I like Nathan Fallon a lot.

Okay, so I watched the first episode and thought, um, it's dumb.  ::) It's set up just like all those crappy serial novels they talk about, so I guess it's appropriate. I think Castle and Beckett are too similar as characters to have any chemistry. But the second episode was much better than the first. I like the relationship with his daughter. I wish his interaction with the detective were more like that. It felt natural.

But every time Nathan Fillion speaks, I just totally picture him as Malcolm Reynolds, then wonder if they just cast Mal, and not Nathan Fillion, as Castle, and the writers are trying to pull a fast one on us.  :-\
