I liked Mrs. Hawking:  "Stop thinking about how ridiculous it is!"   A total shout-out to those who criticize - just enjoy the ride!  Cheesy

not a line but during the scene in the Lamp Post, I was pretty ipressed Des was able to walk around without crashing into the pendulum. I'm hoping there's an outtake of him doing that in the S5 DVD set.

I agree, I was waiting for him to hit it, or Eloise to tell him to get off the floor, and ? wouldn't you think he would wipe away the chalk or whatever was on the floor

ROFL!   Grin   I was soooo waiting for that to happen!

I laughed hardest at Ben's line "My mother taught me."  He's getting so good at putting Jack in his place!

I too was hoping the pendulum would swing by and just knock Des completely out of the frame. And, I missed the Wilhelm Scream, will have to go back and listen for it.

Ms. Hawking: "That's why its called 'a leap of faith', Jack!"

Nice little echo of a line back in season 2, when Locke says to Jack when he wants him to push the button - "Its a leap of faith, Jack"

I was so waiting for him to be hit, reminded me of the scene in Final Destination where the girl gets hit by the bus right after screaming at her boyfriend.

Jack: "Is he telling the truth"

Hawkings: "Probably Not"
That was my fave, as well.  Frank's comment made me laugh but I found this one to be both funny and telling.  Illustrates just how notorious Ben is for lying.

As awesome as these one-liners and zingers are, I think this was the worst written epsidoe yet. So many times I would just say out loud "Are you kidding me?" to somethign dumb the actors did or said.

Definitely Ben's "My mother taught me."
Great snarky response...
