Plus, we don't know how long Jin is going to be with her people. Maybe next week they show us that Jin was only with them for less than a day, and disapearred. I know I wouldn't remember what someone looked like after meeting them for just a few hours. Now, if for some reason the time shoft keeps them in 1988 for a while, and Jin is hanging out with them for a while, then yeah, forgetting what he looked like would be more difficult.
I would remember someone, no matter for how short of a time I knew them, if they up and disappeared right before my eyes. Jin may time skip shortly after arriving on the beach with Rousseau's team, but not within their eyesight. As for Danielle, I'm guessing that after being on the island for 16 years, seeing her crew overcome by the "sickness", witnessing what the smoke monster can do, having to personally kill all her friends and crewmants, and experiencing having her new born daughter ripped from her... that meeting Jin for 5 minutes 16 years ago might not be high on her list of things to remember lol. That's what I'm talking about. Well, I personally would have no problem forgetting someone that vanishes right in front of me, because they are not there. Also, keep in mind that it could have happened when they were seperated. Like, Jin says, "we can catch fish over here" he goes to fish, but never comes back. Then Danielle and crew would think he just got lost/hurt. LOL, well, this is getting very conditional, so we'll just have to see how it plays out.
Also what I am talking about LOL I kind of assumed that she knows that the isolation has started to mess with her, so if she remembered what Jin looked like after 16 years, then her broken mind might have convinced her that seeing him in 2004 might have been a hallucination or something else. Either that, or maybe she just forgot what he looked like after 16 years.

When you watch the epi she leads us to believe they are after Aaron because of the smoke etc. but they end up with Walt. After all Walt has exhibited powers. She had to the best of my recall only Sayid and isn't that when she led them to the dynamite? Oh no I am questioning myself!!!!!!!!!!!ugh anyway she did have a bizzare look on her face, but after 16 years on an island talking to a soccer ball well, oops time warp here! She didn't have a soccer ball did she  Poor woman after remaining alive all those years and she hooks up with our friends and bang bang she is dead!  |

I was just trying to determine if the first time she saw Jin, (at least the first time we saw her meet Jin) did she give him a funny look. I could see her not sayiong anything at all so she would avoid people thinking she wre crazy but I would bet she did recognize him and the writers probably threw that in there in season one, since we wouldnt be able to correlate the funny look from her meeting Jin to this weeks episode of seeing him in the past. |
