I guess things they are in contact with, such as clothes and guns and canoes can jump with them. It's a good thing too because they'd all have been naked after the first time jump.
I was really expecting the canoe to disappear underneath them during the jump...
And what, exactly, would be so wrong with seeing Juliet naked? *grin* Dude, gross. She's like a skeleton with a sheet draped over it. Juliet? lol...You and I have different ideas of what constitutes a skeleton.  |

Why did we never see that Danielle remembers meeting Jin? Maybe she knows enough about the way the Island works that, although she remembers, she knew it would be best to not mention it to anyone.

I kind of assumed that she knows that the isolation has started to mess with her, so if she remembered what Jin looked like after 16 years, then her broken mind might have convinced her that seeing him in 2004 might have been a hallucination or something else. Either that, or maybe she just forgot what he looked like after 16 years. |

Now, if for some reason the time shoft keeps them in 1988 for a while, and Jin is hanging out with them for a while, then yeah, forgetting what he looked like would be more difficult.

Well, I personally would have no problem forgetting someone that vanishes right in front of me, because they are not there. Also, keep in mind that it could have happened when they were seperated. Like, Jin says, "we can catch fish over here" he goes to fish, but never comes back. Then Danielle and crew would think he just got lost/hurt. LOL, well, this is getting very conditional, so we'll just have to see how it plays out.

No, JMART, they have to be together. Locke kicked the french wreckage over. Jin would have presumably been flashing through time along with the other losties. So, he was afloat in the ocean in 2004, 1950's, etc. That's my guess anyways.
agreed.. i forgot about that last flash the losties went through from being shot at, to it raining heavily and them going to the island.  LOL @ jin missing the 50's cuz his ass was knocked out for a couple days |

As for Danielle, I'm guessing that after being on the island for 16 years, seeing her crew overcome by the "sickness", witnessing what the smoke monster can do, having to personally kill all her friends and crewmants, and experiencing having her new born daughter ripped from her...that meeting Jin for 5 minutes 16 years ago might not be high on her list of things to remember lol. |
