First off, are we SURE that it was wreckage from the French that Locke kicked??  Was whatever he kicked part of the same wreckage as the Ajjir Airlines bottle??

Secondly, we know that one of the men we saw wash ashore with Rousseau was her husband.  We also know that all of them excluding Rousseau herself die from a "sickness".   So, are we getting ready to start seeing that story??

Wasn't the Ajira water bottle in the wooden canoe?  Not by the French wreckage.

point of fact, they didn't die of the sickness, she said they got sick and SHE killed them.

Did Rousseau ever mention anything about finding someone in the ocean/on shore to any of the other survivors??

Not that I can remember. Then again, nobody on Lost ever tells anyone else everything they know/experience lol.

I guess things they are in contact with, such as clothes and guns and canoes can jump with them.  It's a good thing too because they'd all have been naked after the first time jump.
I was really expecting the canoe to disappear underneath them during the jump...

And what, exactly, would be so wrong with seeing Juliet naked? *grin*

It was written in French and they time traveld back to 1988 since leaving their camp.

I think Jin and the losties are all in the same time period.  Jin was time jumping all along but he was just floating in the water the whole time so he has no idea that he's time jumping.  The purge didn't happen in 1988, it happened in 1992 right? (12 years before 2004)

I also thought (per Daniel) that whatever was in a certain radius got sucked up with the island.  So Jin must have jumped off the freighter and swam super fast to be within the radius.  Unless the freighter was just on the line or something.

I still maintain that the freighter wreckage could have been in the radius, but it just didn't time-jump...

that's what I thought as well, but I had the thought because I assumed that's how Ben knew that Jin was alive, becasue he saw Jin with Danielle and her people before/when he took Alex.

That's right!!  Didn't she say something about she messed with the guns so they wouldn't fire and at one point her own husband tried to fire a dismantled gun at her so she HAD to kill them.  So, what??  The "sickness" made them crazy??

Has anyone else said that they think it is the Oceanic 6 firing from the canoe?

Somewhere someone suggested that, and the only problem I see with that idea is that if getting the O6 to come back is suppossed to stop the skips, then why did they skip to 1988 if the O6 were there??
